2 KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Tender management JOB DESCRIPTION Assume rle f technical specialist (infrastructure) in tender adjudicatin as a member f the Tender Adjudicatin Cmmittee (TAC). Spearhead the develpment and maintenance f the fllwing: Tender management systems (such as an electrnic TAC submissin systems, electrnic tender evaluatin systems). Framewrks and templates (tender dcumentatin, evaluatin scre cards, cnditins f tender, tender adverts etc). Spearhead cmpliance with statutry and regulatry framewrks (such as BBBEE, PPPFA, CIDB practice ntes, etc) and institutinalisatin f nrms and standards relating t tendering Quality assurance measures. Undertake business prcess imprvement initiatives relating t tender management. Manage the adptin and adaptatin f best practices in relatin t tender management. Prvide supprt t reginal ffices in relatin t: Tender management strategies, standards, prtcls, and tls. Reginal tender management Tender capacity building. supprt Entrenchment f tender management best practices. Management f tender-related audits and queries. Planning in respect f tender management. 2

Ensure achievement f functinal gals and targets. Manage tender-related perfrmance threats. Supprt the peridic reviewing f the plicies, prcedures, and systems t ensure that they supprt the rganisatinal gals. Manage the alignment f the functinal mandate with Sub-Unit gals (clearly define, General functins interpret, cmmunicate and manage). Supprt peratinal planning prcess fr ender management. Prvide supprt in the management f different stakehlders relating t tender management. Develp and manage functinal budget and institute effective cntrl measures. Manage the applicatin f requisite resurces t achieve functinal gals. 3

Manage functinal and supprt sub-unit risk management, statutry cmpliance and ther gvernance matters. Generate reprts fr Management. Respnd timeusly t audit matters.
