2 PRIMARY OBJECTIVES T prvide engineered designs fr RCR Energy Systems energy plant in a timely, cst effective and efficient manner. T lead, manage and develp the Mechanical Design Engineering team t enable them t effectively perfrm at the required levels t best achieve business utcmes. PRINCIPLE DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES The emplyee will be respnsible and accuntable fr the fllwing: OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES Assist the cmpany wherever pssible t ensure the verall health, safety and welfare f all RCR persnnel, cntractrs r visitrs within the Entity. Ensure all wrk practices are carried ut in as safe a manner as is pssible and cmplies with all applicable legislatin and the RCR s Occupatinal Health Safety and Envirnmental (OHS&E) plicies / prcedures at all times, t achieve a zer tlerance f unsafe practices. Actively prmte and adhere t all RCR OHS&E plicies / prcedures. Assist the cmpany wherever pssible t ensure emplyees, clients and visitrs cmply with the RCR Health, Safety and Envirnmental plicies and prcedures at all times. TECHNICAL/ROLE SPECIFIC Energy Plant engineering including but nt limited t: Design f fired pressure vessels Design f unfired pressure vessels Design f structures fr supprting plant equipment, including 3 rd party design services Design f ancillary equipment t cmplete the verall plant design, including but nt limited t: - Materials handling and strage - Ducting and stacks - Piping - Tanks - Nise cntrl equipment Transprt and lifting design requirements Manage, schedule and reprt n the activities f the Mechanical Design team 1108 PD Hstg Systems Mechanical Design Team Leader Gareth Lampitt.dcx Page 2 f 6

3 Prvide functinal designs which are in accrdance with the required design and quality standards, and are technically and cmmercially viable Cmplete assigned design checking and verificatin in accrdance with Cmpany design prcesses and prcedures Prvide input int standardising RCR equipment, including prviding technical input int the Engineering Manual and mechanical design prcedures Cntrl, recrd and prvide infrmatin as required in accrdance with RCR Timesheet prgramme and Dcument Register system Prvide mechanical design labur hurs fr prpsal cstings Liaise with manufacturing where necessary t ensure items are manufactured in accrdance with the design criteria BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Assist t Develp, prmte and increase the business activities f the cmpany wherever pssible. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT REPORTING PRODUCTION Prepare weekly prject reprts and update cmments in Timesheet fr Divisinal Manager s weekly reprt Additinal reprts as required t prvide additinal infrmatin t the abve QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL Cmply with all aspects f the RCR Quality plicies and prcedures at all times. Insist that all prducts r services delivered t clients meet the strict quality standards set by the Cmpany at all times. PLANT MAINTENANCE PEOPLE Actively prmte and reflect the RCR Values f Integrity, Mutual Respect, Open and Hnest Cmmunicatin and Cmmitment t ur Gals. Assist ther team members within the RCR Energy Systems divisin, ther divisins f the Business Unit and ther RCR Business units wherever practical t achieve RCR rganisatinal bjectives. Cnduct perfrmance and develpment reviews fr all direct reprting staff. 4 Participate in recruitment and perfrmance management activities f the Mechanical Design team in cnjunctin with the Engineering Manager and NZ HR Manager. Ensure all direct reprts are prvided with the necessary training t prductively carry ut their designated rles. Maintain Training Matrix and implement Training Plan fr reprting staff. Being the first pint f call fr allcated staff and ensuring cmpliance f cmpany rules by staff reprting t yu. 6 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI s) KPI 1 Maintaining the Timesheet Resurce Scheduler fr Mechanical Design Grup. Weekly prject reprts t be prepared by Wednesday midday. Using the Prject Summary Reprt t mnitr prject prgress. KPI 2 Prviding supprt t ur internal and external custmers, including develping Mechanical Design Plans, Engineering Packs and milestne mnitring. KPI 3 Building a sustainable mechanical design team by dcumenting ur design prcedures. Develp six mechanical design guidelines fr the Engineering Manual within 6 mnths. KPI 4 Prviding estimates f labur requirements fr sales activities in a timely and accurate fashin. Invicing design activities in a timely and accurate manner. KPI 5 Prmting that the respnsibility fr drawing utputs is the respnsibility f the engineer. Drawings t be checked in accrdance with dcumented standards. Wrk packages t be presented t drafting using RFD s. KPI 6 Prvide dcuments and systems t increase the standardisatin, speed, cnsistency and quality f the Mechanical Engineering Grup. KPI 7 All Perfrmance and Develpment Reviews fr direct reprting persnnel are cnducted at least annually as specified by the CEO.
