Leadership skills t supprt and enhance the TEYS staff team. Ability t think lgically and slve prblems within a team envirnment. High standard f prficiency and accuracy. Excellent skills in cmmunicating effectively: with clleagues in the team within the rganisatin with parents/ caregivers with external cntacts. The successful applicant is required t hld: a current certificate fr training in Respnding t Abuse and Neglect Educatin and Care (frmerly, Mandatry Ntificatin). a current First Aid certificate. a current Criminal Histry Assessment (Natinal Plice Check), with results cnsidered satisfactry by the Cllege. Sme ut f hurs (evening) wrk is required. Key Knwledge The successful applicant is required t have knwledge f and experience with: the Children s Services Act and Regulatins. the Natinal Quality Framewrk fr Early Childhd Educatin and Care and the implementatin f the Quality Imprvement Plan (QIP). relevant WHS practices. the Fd Safety Act. Effective Management f TEYS Administratin Manage and versee the business and peratinal rganisatin f the Early Years prgram. Be aware f, understand and ensure the Early Years prgram meets its cntinuing bligatins under: Family Assistance law Natinal Law and Natinal Regulatins, and any ther relevant state and territry regulatins. Liaise with Gvernment agencies regarding the peratin f The Early Years at Seymur prgram. Prvide high quality administrative supprt fr the Directr TEYS. Planning and Cntinuus Imprvement Prvide supprt fr the strategic develpment f The Early Years at Seymur prgram. Cntribute t cntinuus review and further develpment f peratins f the Early Years prgram. Actively cntribute t Early Years planning, reprting, imprvement and accuntability in key plicy and service delivery areas. Enrlments Be respnsible fr enrlments, cmpliance and administrative prcesses, wrking cllabratively with the Directr f Enrlments and Cmmunity Relatins. Wrk with the Directr TEYS and the Directr f Enrlments and Cmmunity Relatins regarding TEYS turs, pen days and ther special enrlment events. Assist prspective parents with the cmpletin f administrative prcedures related t the enrlment f their child. Custmer Service Be the first pint f cntact fr visitrs, including ptential and future parents. Respnd t enquiries regarding enrlments and child care benefits. In the absence f the Directr, take respnsibility fr ensuring the infrmatin needs f parents are met. Parents and Families Fster relatinships with parents and families thrugh: welcming new families. prviding an envirnment that is accepting t parents and families. respnding psitively t the individual needs f families. liaising with parents in regard t plicies and prcedures. encuraging parent participatin. inducting new families and assisting with parent infrmatin sessins. 4 Manager The Early Years at Seymur Page 4 Child Care Management System (CCMS) Maintain the Child Care Management System database. Administer the systems required t perate as an apprved Centre Based Lng Day Care service fr the purpses f Child Care Benefit and Rebates. Ensure the Early Years prgram meets the requirements under the Child Care Management System (CCMS) fr Child Care Benefit apprved child care services, including: enrlments attendance submissin t the Department f Educatin invicing t families. Be respnsible fr the Child Care Management System. Prepare frtnightly billing and distribute invices t parents. Assist with any billing enquires and fllw up n unpaid accunts. Submit nline attendance details t relevant authrities. Liaise with relevant authrities regarding infrmatin and data cllectin. Prcedures Develp and keep updated a full range f TEYS administrative prcedures. Induct and educate staff with regard t TEYS administrative prcedures. Utilise ICTs t facilitate prcesses and recrding. First Aid Assist with the prvisin f First Aid supprt as required. Budgeting Assist in preparing the annual budget fr the TEYS cst centre. Cleaning Meetings Keep accurate and cmprehensive budget recrds. Ensure that the Early Years centre and equipment are maintained in a clean, hygienic and safe manner at all times. Devise and implement staff cleaning schedules fr mandated areas. Ensure mandated standards are met. Act as TEYS liaisn persn with the cleaning cntractrs. Attend weekly meetings with the Directr TEYS. Attend weekly meetings and regular financial meetings with the Business Manager. Cmmunicatin and Relatinships As a prfessinal member f the Cllege, the Manager will: cmmunicate effectively with clleagues. establish effective relatinships with members f the Cllege cmmunity.
