Abut River Murray Training (RMT) RMT has been a registered training rganisatin (RTO) in training and assessment since RMT has a reputatin as an innvative prvider in wrk-based learning and the use f flexible delivery methds t meet enterprise and individual client needs. Quick Facts Curse details Allw 6-9 mnths t cmplete TAE40110 with part time study. (Participants have 12 mnths frm enrlment t submit evidence.) Being facilitated 1:1 yu chse when t start, and frequency and timing f nline sessins. The qualificatin averages 255 nminal hurs. A typical study plan wuld invlve x 1 hr sessins 1:1 with facilitatr nline, and up t 10 hurs f applied study/practical time. Prerequisites There are n prerequisites r crequisites fr the TAE Entry requirement A cre skill prfile at level 3 r higher. An RMT facilitatr will assist yu in ding a prfile. If nt at level 3, we may recmmend undertaking a Skill Set f TAE units befre cmmencing the full qualificatin. Skill Set units can cntribute t a full qualificatin at a later time. Pathways int this qualificatin Cnsider undertaking the TAE4010 when yu have cnsiderable industry experience (and ideally a supprting vcatinal qualificatin) and yu wuld nw like t train thers. Recgnitin f Prir Learning (RPL) Cmpetence in units can be fully r partially awarded thrugh recgnitin f prir experience and/r learning. RPL reduces the time required t cmplete the curse, and reduces the cst f a qualificatin. Indicate yur interest in RPL n the Enquiry Frm. Cmplete an enrlment frm, select units f cmpetency and apply fr RPL. There may be an RPL fee payable. 4. An RMT Facilitatr will guide yu thrugh the RPL prcess, and prvide feedback n nt yet cmpetent units. 5. An individual learning prgram is develped and included in the Client Services Agreement. 6. Other arrangements are negtiated and dcumented in the Client Service Agreement Fee, Delivery and Assessment, and any Enterprise arrangements; Client supprt plan (if applicable); and learner/rto/enterprise rles and respnsibilities. RMT ffers reasnable adjustments in hw assessment is undertaken t accmmdate a client s special needs, where a client has indicated he/she has special needs. Assessment Evidence f cmpetency will include dcumentatin such as learning plans and prgrams; training sessin ntes, learning aids and training recrds; and assessment plans, activities, summary recrds, and validatin reprts, and evidence f delivery and assessment practice in the VET envirnment using natinally accredited Training Packages and/r natinally accredited curses. It typically applies t a persn wrking as an entry level trainer, teacher r facilitatr, team leader r wrkplace supervisr, r any emplyee respnsible fr guiding learning thrugh wrk. TAEDES401A 50 hurs Design and develp learning prgrams cnceptualise, design, develp and review learning prgrams t meet an identified need fr a grup f learners. The unit addresses the skills and knwledge needed t identify the parameters f a learning prgram, determine the design, utline the cntent and review its effectiveness. It typically applies t a trainer r facilitatr wh designs r develps learning prgrams. A learning prgram can be discrete, prviding a planned learning apprach that relates t specific learning and training needs, r it may frm part f the learning design fr a qualificatin. It emphasises the training as being driven by the wrk prcess and cntext. The unit supprts a wide range f applicatins acrss any wrkplace setting and s can be used by any rganisatin. Its use is nt restricted t training rganisatins. TAEDEL403A 30 hurs Crdinate and facilitate distance-based learning crdinate and facilitate a distance-based learning prcess. It typically applies t trainers, facilitatrs, teachers, and training and assessment cnsultants. TAEDEL404A 30 hurs Mentr in the wrkplace* this must relate t mentring trainees/apprenti ces in the wrkplace. establish and develp a prfessinal mentring relatinship with a learner, in particular an apprentice r trainee emplyed by, r undertaking wrk placement in, a wrkplace. It includes establishing the need fr mentring, develping a mentring plan/framewrk, facilitating and mnitring the mentring relatinship, and evaluating the effectiveness f mentring. The unit typically applies t wrkplace supervisrs r ther wrk clleague with respnsibility fr mentring in the wrkplace. TAETAS401B 40 hurs Maintain training and assessment infrmatin maintain the training and assessment infrmatin requirements f the rganisatin and ther relevant bdies, including the timely disseminatin f accurate infrmatin t learners n training and assessment services and the recrding and reprting f training and assessment service data.
