Electrnic Cmmerce: Studying electrnic cmmerce infrastructure using Near Field Cmmunicatin (NFC) mbile phnes t imprve financial and business transactins. Established and launched a new Cmputer Netwrks Lab t be used in teaching undergraduate as well as graduate curses and added the IPTV and VIP infrastructures t be used fr IPTV and VIP research. Designed and develped a VIP Traffic Analyzer sftware applicatin that crrelates the traffic captured frm the tw ends f the phne call and calculates imprtant VIP quality metrics such as, latency, jitter, packet lss, and mean pinin scre (MOS). Designed and implemented a sftware prbe that uses Simple Netwrk Management Prtcl (SNMP) t cllect varius traffic quality metrics fr different netwrk services. Revising the curriculum mdificatin prcess t identify implementatin bttlenecks. The new streamlined prcess is suppsed t be the fundatin fr any future autmatin f the entire prcess. C-Chairing the General Educatin Subcmmittee and leading the discussins f the new Cre Curriculum that was implemented in Fall Leading the effrts within the Cllege f Science and Technlgy t implement a Summer JumpStart prgram that will imprve the readiness f freshman students fr their cllege level MATH curses. Designed, develped and deplyed the TSU Master Scheduling System which is an nline multiuser system designed t help department Chairs schedule their curses while verifying that the TSU scheduling plicy is applied and checks fr instructr as well as rm cnflicts. The system was deplyed and used t generate Summer 2012 and Fall 2012 schedules. Led the develpment f the Lumina/SACSSOC Degree Qualificatins Prfile (DQP) Case Study fr TSU. The TSU DQP Case Study is titled: Shifting t Cmpetency-Based Learning: Lessns frm Texas Suthern University Degree Qualificatins Prfile Pilt Prject. The Develpment f the case study was funded by SACSCOC and was featured by SACSCOC in the fllwing reprt: Making Case fr the Applicatin f Lumina Fundatin s Degree Qualificatins Prfile.
