2 JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: EXPERIENCED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER LOCATION: INDIA REPORTING TO: COMPANY DIRECTOR SALARY: BASED ON EXPERIENCE CONTEXT AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB RiMed is a leading clinical sftware cmpany based in the UK. Our cre business functin is develping and delivering clinical applicatins. We prvide custmised slutins t meet the specific requirements f healthcare prfessinals. Our missin is t imprve healthcare at the pint f delivery thrugh patient participatin and real time data capture. RiMed has been delivering clinical slutins natinally and internatinally since 1997, in a variety f cmmunicable and nn-cmmunicable disease areas including, HIV, Sexually transmitted disease, Osteprsis, Elderly Care, Rheumatlgy, Cardilgy and Diabetes. PERSON REQUIREMENTS The pst hlder wuld be a member f the IT team that is respnsible fr develping and supprting ur sftware prducts. An in-depth understanding f the fllwing is essential: Object riented sftware develpment in Java Servlets JSP Relatinal databases MySql, and SQL server and use f SQL Understanding f the requirements needed fr technical supprt and netwrk administratin (user management, hardware/sftware cnfiguratin). An understanding and experience f the fllwing wuld be advantageus. Page 1 Sftware Develper Psitin

3 Client side technlgies including: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Tmcat; Apache, XML, Oracle Object relatinal mapping (especially Hibernate); Spring; Struts; Web services (Sap); AJAX and Flash; Mirth integratin engine Excellent cmmunicatin skills t deal with custmers at all levels in a prfessinal manner and wrk clsely with ther members f the team is essential t this pst. RiMed places great emphasis n the relatinship with its custmers, staff, and suppliers. The psthlder reprts directly t the IT Manager and will wrk as part f the IT and Sftware design team. MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES T wrk as an effective member f the sftware team respnsible fr imprving and develping additinal functinalities fr RiMed s sftware prducts Liaise with ur clients t establish imprved and new functinality fr ur sftware prducts Research best methds fr develping and imprving ur sftware prducts T develp sftware unsupervised in line with the strategic bjectives f the cmpany and the specific instructins prvided by the IT sftware manager Prduce relevant dcumentatin n sftware develpment and ther functins perfrmed in line with yur rle and respnsibilities Test and dcument sftware releases against agreed functinality Cnduct site visits in line with custmer and business requirements, which may invlve verseas visits and being away fr days/weeks at a time Deply ur applicatin t the remte lcatins acrss the wrld Prvide training t ur end-users n the functinality f ur prducts Prvide IT training and supprt t RiMed emplyees bth natinally and internatinally Maintain the systems required t supprt ur existing applicatins Maintain the systems required t ensure that RiMed emplyees can functin in an effective and efficient manner Attend training sessins t imprve the skills that are required t carry ut yur jb mre effectively.
