The NSRCF was established in 1980 by secnd generatin Japanese Americans, Nisei, in gratitude t the Natinal Japanese American Student Relcatin Cuncil. The Cuncil made it pssible fr the Nisei t leave the Wrld War II internment camps fr clleges and universities acrss the United States. The NSRCF encurages inter-ethnic cllabratin and prmtes public awareness and understanding f the frced remval and unjust imprisnment f 120,000 persn f Japanese ancestry during Wrld War II.
