2 Prgram Overview The Wrkfrce Develpment Grant is part f s (GWA) Enable Strategic Objectives. GWA are cmmitted t develping and supprting clubs, caches, fficials, administratrs and supprt persnnel. The Wrkfrce Develpment Grant ffers a unique pprtunity fr members t take advantage f the expertise and skills f peple and rganisatins in the wider cmmunity that can assist in delivering targeted educatin and training pprtunities. Eligibility It is essential that all applicants read the guidelines and assciated materials t ensure they prvide themselves with the best pprtunity t be successful in receiving the grant. T be eligible applicants must: Be actively invlved in an affiliated GWA club/assciatin, r a GWA Technical Cmmittee. Be a cach, administratr, supprt persnnel r fficial Be a current Technical Member, if the applicant is a cach r fficial. Additinal Infrmatin The prgram/prject shuld be inclusive f metr and reginal areas where pssible. If using a facilitatr fr the educatin r training pprtunity they shuld be credible in their field f expertise. Clear utcmes and perfrmance measures must be identified and met. Prvide detailed budget infrmatin. Affiliatin fees, meals, clthing and equipment will nt be funded by the grant but can be included as a financial cntributin by the individual/club. Applicants can have ther funding fr a prject ie gvernment funding etc, as lng as there is n surplus incme. This must be declared within yur applicatin. Applicants that have utstanding GWA grants r mnies (f any frm) will nt be cnsidered. Wrkfrce Develpment Grants are nt prvided in retrspect. Octber 2015 Wrkfrce Develpment Grant Guidelines Page 2

3 Wrkfrce Develpment Grants will be paid t the applicant upn prviding acquittal requirements at the cnclusin f the prject. Management f all grants will be the respnsibility f the applicant. They must certify they have the capacity t manage, reprt n, prvide the crrect dcumentatin and acquit the GWA grant as requested. GWA are unable t supprt a submissin that is in cmpetitin with GWA scheduled r calendared activities. Applicatins can be received at any time during the 2015/2016 financial year, the prject must be cmpleted within this time perid als. All reprt schedules and tax receipts must be received by GWA within 30 days f the prject cmpletin. Rles and Respnsibilities Grant Applicant Cmmitment t cmplete grant prject activities and bjectives. Ensure Key Results Schedule and activities are cmpleted as per grant agreement. Cmplete reprting and submit t GWA within 30 days f prject cmpletin A GWA reimbursement frm and all Tax receipts must be prvided t GWA t receive reimbursement f the grant mney. All receipts/invices need t be made ut t the grant recipient and indicate prf f purchase/spend. Fr verseas expenditure, itemised receipts including the exchange rate at the time the expense was incurred are required. This is usually clearly displayed n credit card/bank statements. Manage the grant s prmtin, applicatin, and selectin prcesses Develp and implement selectin panels, assessment tls and feedback mechanisms. Applicant submits the applicatin t GWA ensuring all assciated dcuments are attached ie prject budget Applicatins will be assessed by the GWA selectin panel within 21 wrking days Successful applicants will be ratified by the GWA Bard, at their next meeting. Successful and unsuccessful grant recipients advised. Cnsultatin between recipient and GWA t determine utcmes f grant and set Key Results Schedule and prject dates. Grant Agreement cmpleted and prject implemented. Applicant submits prject reprt, tax invice receipts and acquittal dcumentatin t GWA fr reimbursement and cmpletin f grant.
