Eligibility Requirements 1. Applicants must hld a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the end f the quarter r semester in which the schlarship applicatin is submitted. 2. Applicants must be currently enrlled full-time r part-time in ne f Central Ohi s paralegal studies prgrams in a Bachelr Degree prgram, Assciate Degree prgram, Paralegal Certificate prgram, r Paralegal Nurse Certificate prgram. 3. At the end f the quarter r semester in which the schlarship applicatin is submitted, applicants must have cmpleted at least twelve (12) quarter r (9) semester hurs (exclusive f general curses) in the paralegal studies prgram currently attending. 4. Applicatin is t include basic persnal infrmatin, educatin infrmatin, emplyment histry, and extracurricular activities alng with any ther pertinent infrmatin. 5. Cmpleted schlarship applicatins must be pstmarked t the PACO Student Liaisn Cmmittee by May 1, 2008, and mailed t: P.O. Bx 15182, Clumbus, Ohi

2 SELECTION PROCESS The selectin f the schlarship recipient(s) will be made by the PACO Student Liaisn Cmmittee. Schlarship applicatins will be reviewed n the basis f: 1) grades; 2) the applicant s narrative statement; 3) letters f recmmendatin; 4) educatin and emplyment histry; 5) cmmunity invlvement; and 6) the applicant s demnstratin f cmmitment t the paralegal prfessin. If needed, the PACO Student Liaisn Cmmittee will schedule persnal interviews t finalize the selectin f the schlarship recipient(s). The student schlarship applicant will be awarded a ne time $750 schlarship award alng with a ne year membership t PACO (3-in-1 membership t include membership t PACO, Clumbus Bar Assciatin and Natinal Federatin f Paralegal Assciatins). The Student Liaisn Cmmittee will ntify all applicants in writing f the utcme f the selectin f the schlarship prcess by July 31, The student recipient(s) awarded this schlarship will be ineligible t reapply fr this schlarship at any ther time. Schlarships awarded will be made payable t the successful recipient(s) and will be funded within 30 days after the annuncement f the recipient(s).
