4 ABOUT AIDE 2015 DIVE & DISCOVER The first ever Australia International Dive Expo which debuted at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park, Sydney on February was successfully concluded with a total of 773 attendees from eight countries including Australia. The show was seen as the stepping-stone for the consumer market. Exhibitors introduced new dive gears, dive destinations, tour and camera products to the keen visitors over the weekend. Now, AIDE is gearing up for next year s show, which will be held from 12 to 13 September 2015 at the same venue. The show will continue to promote the sport of scuba diving, snorkeling, free diving, equipment / gears, dive destinations and ongoing conservation efforts. Next year s show will see even more experts from the diving community taking the stage to share their knowledge and efforts on ongoing conservation practices and diving tips. Current topics of interests would be discussed and visitors will have the opportunity to learn ways of contributing to the preservation of the world s marine s life. AIDE will showcase highlights from the Underwater Project, the world's first perpetual underwater shootout. Join this project and be part of the exciting shootout competition. In addition, one of the highlights for next year is the dive try-outs in a pool at the venue. Diving gear would be provided to those keen to have a go. Product demonstrations would also be held there for those interested in learning about the latest diving gadgets. Also, for the first time, a trade session will be included as part of AIDE 2015 to better engage with industry suppliers and partners. It is the venue requirement for all exhibitors to insure and to have a certificate of Public Risk Liability for policy of AUD 20million for the exhibiting period of time ie September It is exhibitor s/participating company/organization responsibility to secure their own insurance coverage.
