1 Dear partner, OBUG organizes Benelux Connect 2012 On April the Oracle Benelux User Group (OBUG) is organizing its 5 th OBUG Benelux Connect in succession. All in close collaboration with Oracle. OBUG Benelux Connect 2012 will be held at the MECC, Maastricht (), on Tuesday April 24. The MECC is an excellent venue that provides its guests with the very latest amenities in a strikingly professional ambiance. The MECC is located in Maastricht, 10 minutes from Maastricht Central Station with train connections to Amsterdam and Brussels and a 3 minute walk from the train station Maastricht-Randwyck and 7 international airports within a distance of 2 hours travel. Maastricht is a very popular destination for congress visitors, because it is such an intimate place and the city has much to offer. Extend your Horizon Extend your Horizon is the theme for OBUG Benelux Connect The strength of OBUG Benelux Connect is the customer cases presented by OBUG members and other Oracle customers: learn from peers to maximize the value of your business-critical applications and technology and extend your horizon... Speakers will share their experiences and business solutions in about 50 sessions scheduled in different streams: Applications (Oracle ebs, Peoplesoft, Siebel, JD Edwards, Primavera), Technology (DBMS, JDeveloper/ADF, etc.), Middleware (BPEL, SOA, EAS, etc.) & Business Intelligence (Hyperion, OBI, GRC, etc.). As well as in the past few years the Oracle User Experience Team will fly in from the USA to conduct several onsite User Experience Sessions, where delegates have the possibility to contribute to and influence product direction and design for Oracle s next-generation products. SPONSORING OBUG Benelux Connect 2012 accommodates a large vendor expo of about 2000 m 2, where you have the possibility to show your products and services. We expect between 600 and 800 visitors to the OBUG Benelux Connect 2012 conference. 6 CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION Sponsorcontacts Exhibition Committee The OBUG Committee, hereafter referred to as the committee, has general responsibility for the organization and arrangement of the conference exhibition area. Technical organization has been delegated to vof De Tekst,,,. Exhibition Location The exhibition will be held in MECC Maastricht (), hereafter referred to as MECC. The floorplan of the exhibition is attached. Exhibits All products and services shall be related to the area of interest of the conference. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any exhibitor which does not have a direct connection with the subject of the OBUG. The committee will appoint each place on the exhibition. No documents or brochures shall be distributed by the exhibitor outside his own stand in the exhibit area, or in the MECC general area. Decoration Materials Decorating walls belonging to MECC is in any case (glue, nails, screws, tape etc.) strictly prohibited. Installation The OBUG exhibition will be open for delivery and set up of goods and equipment to be exhibited according to the following schedule: Tuesday, April 24, am Preparation of exhibits must be completed no later than am Tuesday April 24, so as to be ready for arrival of the first conference attendees from am. Opening hours The exhibit area will be open to conference attendees at all times during the conference. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from am to pm. Dismantling The dismantling of exhibits and stands may begin at Tuesday April 24, after hours. Goods are to be removed and stands completely empty by hours. 7 Rental Fee The basic exhibit module is 3,5 x 2 m². The cost of the basic 7 m² is excl. VAT 19%. If you require additional exhibition space, modules are available in multiples of 7 m². Each module includes: - Electricity (2kW) - One table - Two chairs - Possibility to use your company portable display (Pop-up stand). - The basic rental fee includes full conference registration for seven (Gold sponsors), four (Silver sponsors), three (Bronze sponsors) of the exhibitor s company, giving admission to all conference sessions and lunch. - Your company information in the invitation: Your company logo and link to your website. Important Your company logo and web address is due latest WEEK 5, 2012(February 4). Payment The amount due is payable in one instalment. 100% of the basic module rental is payable on signature of the exhi bition contract. Payment may be done in the form of a bank transfer to account number (Rabobank). The amount is due latest March 23, Billing Based on the registration agreement you will receive the invoice at an early date. The invoice have to be paid within 30 days after date. If the invoice is payed within 14 days you will receive a reduction of 100,00. In case of non-payment, your rights for sponsoring will expire and other partners will get the possibility to take your place. Cancellation Notice by the exhibitor of any cancellation must be sent in writing to the Committee. Cancellation is subject to penalty. - 50% of the total rental fee where exhibitor cancels on or before March 23, % of the total rental fee where the exhibitor cancels after March 23, Additional Equipment and Services Optional equipment and services are available at a charge via vof De Tekst. Audiovisual For rental of audiovisual equipment, please contact vof De Tekst. Note however that the use of any sound equipment, which disturbs adjacent exhibitors is not allowed.
