3 INTRODUCTION The World Glaucoma Congress in Hong Kong will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 6-9, The World Glaucoma Congress is the largest glaucoma meeting held anywhere in the world to date. Following the successes of Vienna, Singapore, Boston, Paris and Vancouver, WGC-2015 will be open to all glaucoma care providers including glaucoma specialists, other ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses, technicians, etc. The technical exhibit area will be located in an area with high traffic to maximize interaction between participants and sponsors. The program is planned in concert with the affiliated glaucoma societies, Glaucoma Industry Members and Glaucoma Patient Organizations. Framed by Hong Kong s skyline the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is a magnificent, multi-use venue located right in the heart of Hong Kong on its famous Victoria Harbour. 6 Exhibition The exhibition will be located in the heart of the congress. The catering areas are located in such a way that a dynamic flow of congress delegates and exhibition visitors will be generated. Special prices will be offered to Glaucoma Industry Members. The main plenary room is located next to the exhibition. There will be ample time to visit the exhibits and to meet the representatives of the sponsoring companies. For this congress the organization will work with sponsor & exhibition packages. On page 7 you will find an overview of the different packages, specifying the benefits per package. The exhibition will be open for registered delegates and accompanying persons during congress hours. TERMS OF PAYMENT After receipt of the contract by MCI Amsterdam a confirmation together with an invoice for the total participation costs will be sent, due to be paid within three weeks after receipt. TERMS OF CANCELLATION Cancellation Notification of a sponsor to cancel sponsored items must be submitted to the WGA Congress Organizers (MCI Amsterdam) in writing. The effective date of cancellation of sponsor items will be the date on which the congress organizer receives the written notice. Cancellation schedule 60% of costs will be refunded if a written request is made prior to December 31, % of costs will be refunded if a written request is made between January 1 and March 31, No refunds will be issued for requests made after April 1, th WORLD GLAUCOMA CONGRESS June Hong Kong

12 Glaucoma Industry Member Symposia There will be an opportunity for several Glaucoma Industry Members workshops/symposia on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday morning and early evening. The solo-sponsored Glaucoma Industry Members Lunch Break sessions will be held on Monday, and Tuesday. This should give our Glaucoma Industry Members ample opportunity to present their case. Time slots A, B, C and E will have a maximum of three parallel symposia. Time slots D and F for solo-sponsored symposia for Platinum Sponsors. All contents of Glaucoma Industry Members presentations will have to pass through the Program Committee in order to avoid duplications of topics.
