1 2015 National Conference Sponsor Prospectus About NSLA The National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) is the only national organization dedicated to closing the achievement gap by increasing access to high-quality summer learning programs. NSLA serves as a network hub for thousands of summer learning program providers and stakeholders across the country, providing tools, resources, and expertise to improve program quality, generate support, and increase youth access and participation. We offer professional development, quality assessment and evaluation, and strategic consulting to states, school districts, community organizations, and funders. What is Summer Changes Everything TM? The Summer Changes Everything TM national conference will take place October 12-14, 2015 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Maryland. It is the premier annual convening to support summer learning programs and stakeholders through professional development, networking, and advancement of policy and advocacy goals that promote high-quality summer learning opportunities for all children, especially those from low-income families. Sponsors of this conference reach: A prime national audience of more than 600 summer learning program leaders, school officials, policymakers and advocates looking for effective tools to accelerate achievement, more than two-thirds of whom are directly responsible or highly influential over purchasing decisions Strategic partners in diverse collaborative partnerships at the community level in need of solutions to track and improve system-wide outcomes for summer and afterschool learning An extended network of 9,000 NSLA stakeholders serving millions of children, who receive steady news about conference sponsors and content for months leading up to and following the conference Thousands more participating in a national movement toward expansion and innovation in learning time, increasingly seen as a core strategy for education reform and workforce development, through NSLA s active social media presence and your ongoing support of summer learning 1 P age
