Ge Mbile Packet Radi Service via Thuraya satellite netwrk ffering Always On mbile satellite Internet at speeds up t 60/15 Kbps dwnlad/uplad, using Thuraya s new generatin small, light-weight handsets. It cmplements Thuraya s existing services, making Thuraya the first MSS peratr t have bth circuit switched vice and GmPRS service n a satellite handset. With ThurayaGmPRS yu can brwse the web, send and receive s and even access yur crprate netwrk, prviding yu with freedm t wrk and entertain anytime, anywhere in Thuraya cverage. 1.2 What are the key activities that ThurayaGmPRS supprts? The service will enable users t cnnect t the Internet anywhere acrss Thuraya cverage area and enjy its wide range f applicatins including: Web brwsing , Web mail Cntent dwnlading File Transfer Prtcl (FTP) Virtual Private Netwrk (VPN) E-cmmerce 1.3 What are the benefits f ThurayaGmPRS? ThurayaGmPRS prvides an always n Internet cnnectin n yur handset/pc. Receive and send data at higher speeds f up t 60/15 Kbps. Make and receive vice calls, send, receive, reply SMS, send and receive , all using ne handset, same SIM card and same Thuraya number anywhere in ver 110 cuntries. With ThurayaGmPRS, yu nly pay fr the actual vlume f data sent and received regardless f hw lng yu are cnnected. 1.4 Where des ThurayaGmPRS wrk? ThurayaGmPRS service is available acrss Thuraya cverage. 1.5 What is the supprted speed fr ThurayaGmPRS? While in Satellite mde, Frm netwrk t handset (dwnlad), the speed is up t 60 kbps. Frm handset t netwrk (uplad), the speed is up t 15 kbps. 1.6 What is the Quality f Service? ThurayaGmPRS ffers shared channel resurces amng several users. This means that in any spt beam, the number f users lgged n and are actively using the service will be sharing the available channels. ThurayaGmPRS prvides a standard cnnectin t the Wrld Public Internet Netwrk where Thuraya has n cntrl ver QS. While certain thrughput cannt be guaranteed, we keep mnitring the netwrk t make sure that the best pssible service thrughput is achieved. 1.7 Wh are the target subscribers? ThurayaGmPRS is ideal fr thse wh need always n satellite Internet access n the mve, especially in regins with minimal r unreliable terrestrial cmmunicatin lines. ThurayaGmPRS Activating the service 2.1 Hw d I subscribe fr ThurayaGmPRS service? If yu are already a Thuraya mbile service subscriber, cntact yur Service Prvider fr ThurayaGmRPS activatin n yur existing SIM mbile service SIM card. Upn successful activatin, yu will receive an SMS cnfirmatin, fllwed by SMS with ThurayaMail address and passwrd. Prepaid subscribers - One ff activatin fee f US$ 30 applies. ThurayaGmPRS service will be prvided in additin t basic vice and ther services. If yu are nt a current subscriber and wuld like t subscribe t Thuraya services, please cntact ur service prviders. Check ur service prviders n r send an t ur custmer service n helpline@thuraya.cm Public Static IP address is available fr ThurayaGmPRS subscribers. Check with yur Service Prvider. 2.2 Hw is ThurayaGmPRS charged? Three Pstpaid Plans t suit yur usage and budget requirements: ThurayaGmPRS Light : Mnthly fee US$ 30 with inclusive vlume f 5,120 KB ThurayaGmPRS Smart: Mnthly fee US$ 68 with inclusive vlume f 15,360 KB ThurayaGmPRS Pr: Mnthly fee US$ 119 with inclusive vlume f 35,840 KB 5 cents per 10 KB fr usage exceeding the inclusive mnthly vlume in each plan. ThurayaGmPRS Prepaid : Usage Charge : 5 cents per 10 KB. 2.3 D I have t pay any registratin/activatin fee r mnthly fee fr using ThurayaGmPRS? Fr prepaid subscribers, ne-ff activatin fee f $30 is charged at the time f activatin f service. 2.4 Is charging packet-based (data) r time-based? Charging is based n vlume f data transferred and nt n duratin f cnnectin. 2.5 Is charging dne fr data transfer nly? Charging is based n data transfer, which includes brwsing and the minr usage that ccurs while remaining cnnected t the Internet. 2.6 What is ThurayaGmPRS billing increment? All dependant services als will be deactivated and reactivated. 2.8 Can nrmal scratch cards be used t refill prepaid accunts with ThurayaGmPRS? Yes nrmal scratch cards t refill yur accunt. 3. ThurayaGmPRS Thuraya SO-2510 and Laptp/PC Set Up 3.1 D I have t upgrade my Thuraya SO-2510 t be GmPRS enabled? Thuraya SO-2510 phnes (with sftware versin 5.7 r mre) are ThurayaGmPRS enabled. Thse with sftware versin less than 5.7 need upgrade. Please cntact yur Service Prvider t get yur phne upgraded with the required firmware. (T check firmware versin n Thuraya SO Select Menu> 9 Security > 8 Sftware Versin). 3.2 What are the cnfiguratins / setting t be used n my phne t access ThurayaGmPRS services? GmPRS-ready handsets will have the settings pre-cnfigured (upgrades will autmatically cnfigure the settings). 3.3 What is the APN t be set in my phne fr accessing ThurayaGmPRS service? APN t access ThurayaGmPRS service is: get (GmPRS Enabled Thuraya). Thuraya SO-2510: G t Menu>7Settings >11GmPRS > 1APN select APN get. It is imprtant t ensure that APN get is selected t access ThurayaGmPRS service. 3.4 Can I use Macintsh prducts with SO-2510? Thuraya SO-2510 supprts Windws perating system and therefre cannt be currently used with Macintsh prducts. 3.5 Can I use Thuraya SO-2510 with Pcket PC r Windws Mbile enabled PDA r similar terminals? Currently this is nt pssible. 4. ThurayaGmPRS Accessing and Using the Service 4.1 What are the steps t cnnect t the Internet using a Thuraya SO-2510? Ensure the fllwing befre accessing the service. Thuraya SO-2510 is GmPRS enabled ThurayaGmPRS is activated n the SIM card in yur handset APN get is selected n yur handset Handset is well charged and necessary drivers are installed n yur laptp/pc ThurayaGmPRS netwrk cnnectin is available n yur laptp/pc with SO as the mdem and dialing number is *99# Keep the handset psitined in the directin f the satellite t get the best signal strength. Cnnect t the Laptp/PC using the USB data cable prvided with SO Duble click ThurayaGmPRS netwrk cnnectin icn, Leave user name and passwrd blank. Click Dial Upn successful dialing - yu are nline, pen yur Internet brwser and enjy ThurayaGmPRS service (Fr details check Sectin 11) THURAYA SATELLITE TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY PAGE 6 OF 17

7 4.2 Can I make a call in the middle f ThurayaGmPRS data cnnectin? Yes, simply dial the number and call. 4.3 Can I answer an incming call in the middle f ThurayaGmPRS data cnnectin? If Aut Reject is set t OFF (default), yu will have the ptin t either accept r reject the call. If yu take the call (press Answer Call key), ThurayaGmPRS data call is put n hld. After yu end yur vice call, ThurayaGmPRS cnnectin autmatically resumes. If Aut Reject is set t ON, incming vice call during an active ThurayaGmPRS data sessin will be autmatically rejected; yu will be able t view missed calls. On ThurayaSO-2510 : Menu > 7Settings > 11 GmPRS > 2 Aut Reject 4.4 Can I send / receive an SMS while in the middle f an active ThurayaGmPRS data sessin? Yes yu can send / receive, read and reply SMS during an active ThurayaGmPRS data sessin. 4.5 Hw can I check ThurayaGmPRS usage? On Thuraya SO-2510 : Menu> 3 Call Lgs > 5 Call Duratin > 5 GmPRS Vlume > Last sessin will indicate usage. 4.6 I have cnnected Thuraya SO 2510 t my cmputer and dialed the cnnectin; hwever my cmputer says data cnnectin is nt pssible. What seems t be the prblem? Please ensure yu have checked the phne drivers. The drivers are available nline n and n the CD prvided with yur phne. 4.7 Des ThurayaGmPRS have a feature t limit the sites that can be accessed by the user? This feature is nt currently available. 5. Virtual Private Netwrk (VPN) 5.1 Can I dial int my cmpany s netwrk? ThurayaGmPRS prvides a standard Internet cnnectin. Crprate users can use standard VPN clients t cnnect t their cmpany s crprate netwrk. 5.2 Des Thuraya prvide the VPN Client? N. Establish a VPN sessin using any VPN client installed n yur laptp/pc. 5.3 D I need t have a Public Static IP Address t establish VPN cnnectin? N, hwever Public Static IP address may be required in cases where the cmpany netwrk is secured against utside cnnectin. 6. ThurayaMail 6.1 What is ThurayaMail? Every ThurayaGmPRS subscriber is prvided with a free accunt n ThurayaMail. Yur id is yur Thuraya Number. eg 88216XXXXXXXX@ thurayamail.cm. Pstpaid and Prepaid subscribers can access accunt sn after receiving passwrd by SMS, within 1 hur f ThurayaGmPRS service activatin. 8 6.3 Hw can I access my ThurayaMail accunt? While in Thuraya netwrk Thuraya SO access yur ThurayaMail accunt using any client installed in yur laptp e.g. Micrsft Outlk. (ensure ThurayaMail accunt is cnfigured see 6.4 belw) Yu can als access ThurayaMail frm the Internet: While in any ther netwrk Access ThurayaMail frm the Internet: User Name and Passwrd User Name: YurThurayaNumber@thurayamail.cm. Passwrd: The passwrd will be sent t yu via SMS within 1 hur after GmPRS service activatin. Yu can change the passwrd using the ThurayaMail interface 6.4 Hw t cnfigure Micrsft Outlk t add yur ThurayaMail accunt? T add ThurayaMail accunt t MS Outlk Tls> Accunts> Add a new accunt>next - Chse POP3 r IMAP>Next User Infrmatin Enter Yur Name and Address (YurThurayaNumber@thurayamail.cm) Lgn Infrmatin Enter Address as User Name (YurThurayaNumber@thurayamail.cm), Enter Passwrd. Server Infrmatin Incming mail server - thurayamail.cm Outging mail server thurayamail.cm Befre yu send mail, ensure yu select the crrect Accunt While in Thuraya netwrk, use ThurayaMail accunt. While in ther netwrk, use accunt applicable in that netwrk. 6.5 Can I change my ThurayaMail passwrd? Yu can change the passwrd using the ThurayaMail interface. Optins < Change Passwrd. (This will change passwrd f yur ThurayaCase accunt als). 6.6 What if I frget my ThurayaMail passwrd? Request ThurayaMail passwrd reset by sending a blank SMS t Nrmal SMS charge applies. 7. ThurayaCase 7.1 What is ThurayaCase? Every ThurayaGmPRS subscriber is prvided with a free nline strage space f 5 MB and can use any FTP client n his laptp/pc t dwnlad/uplad files frm/t the strage space. ThurayaGmPRS subscribers can save files nline and retrieve them later frm anywhere (using ThurayaGmPRS r any terrestrial internet access pint.) 7.2 Hw can I access ThurayaCase? ThurayaCase URL : ftp:// thurayacase.cm Server address: thurayacase.cm Username: Yur Thuraya number eg 88216XXXXXXXX (Vice service) Passwrd is the same as fr ThurayaMail accunt. 9 8. ThurayaGmPRS Pstpaid Prvisining by SP 8.1 Hw is ThurayaGmPRS service prvisined fr existing pstpaid subscribers? Fr existing pstpaid mbile subscribers, accunt shuld be deactivated first and then reactivated under the requested ThurayaGmPRS price plan; ThurayaGmPRS service shuld activated after activatin f basic vice service, in rder t minimize disruptin f vice service. ThurayaGmPRS service will be activated within an hur. Subscriber s THURAYA NUMBER and SIM number will remain the same. When reactivating accunt with ThurayaGmPRS r when mving between different ThurayaGmPRS price plans, prrated mnthly fee will be applied. Upn successful activatin f ThurayaGmPRS, subscriber will receive a service activatin cnfirmatin SMS: This will be fllwed by an SMS with ThurayaMail address and passwrd. Fr further details n pstpaid service Prvisining please refer t the GmPRS Activatin Prcedure dcument. 8.2 Will the subscriber experience any interruptin f vice service between deactivatin and reactivatin f accunt? Vice service may be interrupted fr up t an hur between deactivatin and reactivatin f accunt. (Nte fr Service Prvider: Interruptin f vice service can be minimized by reactivating vice services first and then activating ThurayaGmPRS service. ) 8.3 Hw is the ThurayaGmPRS service activated fr new pstpaid subscribers? Fr new pstpaid mbile subscribers, accunt shuld be activated under a ThurayaGmPRS price plan. (Nte fr Service Prvider: If ThurayaGmPRS service is activated after activatin f basic vice service, subscribers can avail vice services sn after activatin f accunt. ThurayaGmPRS service will be activated within an hur.) Upn successful activatin f ThurayaGmPRS service, subscriber will receive a service activatin cnfirmatin SMS, fllwed by SMS with ThurayaMail address and passwrd 8.4 Hw can ThurayaGmPRS service be deactivated frm pstpaid subscribers accunt?. ThurayaGmPRS service can be deactivated (remved) frm the subscribers active services based n subscriber request, while keeping the vice services active. Subscriber will be charged fr the service fr the active perid n pr-rata basis. With deactivatin f ThurayaGmPRS service, all dependant services will als be deactivated. 8.5 What Pstpaid Plans are available? ThurayaGmPRS Pstpaid service ffers the fllwing plans ThurayaGmPRS Light ThurayaGmPRS Smart ThurayaGmPRS Pr 8.6 What are the charges the subscriber has t pay fr ThurayaGmPRS service? Three mnthly plans are available t suit subscribers usage requirements. ThurayaGmPRS Included Mnthly Mnthly Fee Pstpaid Plan Vlume (in Kilbytes) Thuraya GmPRS Light US$ KB ThurayaGmPRS Smart US$ KB ThurayaGmPRS Pr US$ KB Usage abve included mnthly vlume is charged 5 cents per 10 Kilbytes. 10 8.7 If the subscriber is nt fully using the KBs included in the package will there be a rll-ver f KB's? N, there will be n rll-ver f unused KBs included in the package. 8.8 Can a subscriber mve between ThurayaGmPRS Pstpaid Plans? Mving between ThurayaGmPRS pstpaid plans is nt pssible. Hwever, t change t a different plan, subscriber accunt can be deactivated and reactivated under anther ThurayaGmPRS price plan. Nte: Subscriber may experience a brief disruptin f vice service between deactivatin and reactivatin. ThurayaMail and ThurayaCase accunts will als be deactivated upn deactivatin f accunt. 8.9 Can the subscriber have ThurayaGmPRS service nly, while deactivating ther services? ThurayaGmPRS service can be activated in additin t vice services nly Hw can GmPRS service impact billing cycle? ThurayaGmPRS service will nt affect billing cycle Will the existing credit cntrl prcess fr pstpaid service be in effect with additin f ThurayaGmPRS service? Yes, the existing prcess will cntinue. Service Prviders may need t change the threshld (ceiling) when ThurayaGmPRS service is activated. 9. ThurayaGmPRS - Prepaid Prvisining by SP 9.1 Hw can a prepaid subscriber have ThurayaGmPRS activated? Service Prviders can activate the service fr existing and new mbile prepaid subscribers based n subscriber request. One ff activatin fee f USD 20 applies Upn successful activatin f ThurayaGmPRS, subscriber will receive cnfirmatin SMS, fllwed by SMS with ThurayaMail address and passwrd. Nte: Service activatin is expected t be executed within 24 hurs after the receipt f service activatin request. (In case f delay cntact Service Prvider) 9.2 Hw can a prepaid subscriber have ThurayaGmPRS deactivated? ThurayaGmPRS can be deactivated (remved) frm the subscribers active services based n subscriber request t Service Prvider. With deactivatin f ThurayaGmPRS service, all dependant services will als be deactivated. 9.3 What are the Prepaid Plans available? ThurayaGmPRS Prepaid is available fr prepaid subscribers; usage is charged 5 cents per 10 Kilbytes. Activatin fee f US$ 30 applies. 9.4 Will PCAS give details abut a prepaid subscriber s usage r credit psitin? Yes 10. Public Static IP Address Prvisining 10.1 Hw can a subscriber btain Public Static IP address? The Public Static IP Address is prvided t ThurayaGmPRS subscribers, based n subscriber request thrugh the service prvider. THURAYA SATELLITE TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY PAGE 10 OF 17

11 Pstpaid subscribers Public Static IP address can be prvisined by the Service Prvider thrugh the subscriber administratin mdule f BSCS. Subscriber is charged 25 USD/IP/Mnth in advance nt refundable. This amunt will be inviced in the Mnthly Invice. Prepaid subscribers Public Static IP address can be prvisined by the Service Prvider thrugh PCAS. Subscriber is charged 300 USD/IP/Year in advance nt refundable. Prepaid subscribers need t renew Public Static IP address subscriptin n yearly basis Hw can the Public Static IP address be deactivated? Public Static IP address can be deactivated based n subscriber request thrugh service prvider. Deactivating ThurayaGmPRS will deactivate Public Static IP address. 11. Mbile Satellite Internet n Thuraya SO-2510 Steps t set up and cnnect t the Internet using Thuraya SO Set up yur Thuraya SO Set up yur Laptp/PC. 3 Cnnect t the Internet 1. Set up Thuraya SO-2510 Prepare yur Thuraya SO-2510 Thuraya SO-2510 shuld be : Well charged GmPRS enabled (with sftware versin SO_V5.7 r abve) T check sftware versin - Menu> 9 Security > 8 Sftware Versin. Select APN get. G t Menu> 7 Settings > 11 GmPRS > 1 APN t ensure the APN get is checked, ther wise, select Optin and insert the APN get, (case sensitive) and select it. Select preference n Aut Reject ptin. Menu > 7Settings > 11 GmPRS > 2 Aut Reject If Aut Reject is set t OFF, subscriber will have the ptin t either accept the call r reject it. If Aut Reject is set t ON, incming vice call during an active ThurayaGmPRS data sessin will be rejected. Hwever subscriber will be able t view missed calls. Have the USB data cable ready t cnnect yur phne t the laptp/pc. (On yur handset, select USB n Menu> Setting > Data Cnnectin>Data Prt) ThurayaGmPRS activated SIM Card ThurayaGmPRS service shuld be activated n yur Thuraya SIM Card thrugh yur service prvider. Insert the SIM card in yur Thuraya SO THURAYA SATELLITE TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY PAGE 11 OF 17

12 2. Set up yur Laptp/PC Make sure that yu have installed the necessary phne drivers.
