1 Setup Instructins Glin Online Incming Server: POP3 r IMAP Server Name: my.campuscruiser.cm POP3 Prt: 110 SSL : 995 r IMAP Prt: 143 SSL : 993 User Name / Accunt: [email protected] Passwrd: [enter yur CampusCruiser passwrd] NOTE: Yur Outging Server (SMTP) settings fr yur client MUST be set t the fllwing. Otherwise, s yu send will be srted as spam by the system's spam filters. Outging Server (SMTP) : NOTE: Authenticatin is required Server Name: my.campuscruiser.cm Prt: 587 SSL : 465 User Name / Accunt: [email protected] Passwrd: [Enter yur CampusCruiser passwrd] Micrsft Outlk 2007 Frm the Tls menu chse the Accunt Settings... menu item, the Accunt Settings dialg will appear.

2 Select tab then click the New... buttn t begin the prcess f setting up the new accunt. The Add New Accunt dialg will appear. In the Add New Accunt dialg, d nt enter any infrmatin in the field. Instead, check n the bx Manually cnfigure server settings r additinal server types and then click n the Next > buttn. Fr Chse Service select Internet and cntinue with the Next > buttn. In the Internet Settings panel, enter the fllwing infrmatin: User Infrmatin Yur Name: [enter yur full name, e.g. Jamie Willis] Address: [email protected] Server Infrmatin Accunt Type: IMAP r POP3 Incming mail server: my.campuscruiser.cm Outging mail server (SMTP): my.campuscruiser.cm Lgn Infrmatin User Name: [email protected] Passwrd: [enter yur CampusCruiser passwrd]

3 Click the Mre Settings... t bring up the Internet Settings dialg windw. Select the Outging Server tab. Make sure My utging server (SMTP) requires authenticatin is checked n. Then Use same settings as my incming mail server shuld be checked n as well.

4 Select the Advanced tab. Under the Server Prt Numbers sectin Fr IMAP! Select SSL fr Use the fllwing type f encrypted cnnectin! Make sure the value fr Incming server (IMAP) is changed t 993! Change the value fr Outging server (SMTP) t 465 Fr POP3! Check n This server requires an encrypted cnnectin (SSL)! Make sure the value fr Incming server (POP3) is changed t 995! Select SSL fr Use the fllwing type f encrypted cnnectin! Change the value fr Outging server (SMTP) t 465 Click the OK t dismiss the dialg windw. Click the Next > buttn. Click the Finish buttn t cmplete yur cnfiguratin.

5 Windws Mail Frm the Tls menu chse the Accunts menu item, the Internet Accunts dialg will appear. Frm the right side f the dialg bx, click the Add buttn and select Accunt. This will start the accunt creatin wizard. Enter a name fr the Display name field, then click the Next > buttn.

6 In the address field enter then click the Next > buttn. Next cme the Set up servers screen: In the Incming server type: chse either POP3 r IMAP In the Incming mail (POP3 r IMAP) server field enter my.campuscruiser.cm. In the Outging server (SMTP) name: field enter my.campuscruiser.cm. Check n Outging server requires authenticatin Click the Next buttn.

7 In the username field enter yur address In the Passwrd field enter yur CampusCruiser accunt passwrd Click the Next buttn. Check n the D nt dwnlad my and flders at this time Click the Finish t dismiss the Wizard windw.

8 Yur new accunt will appear in the left sectin f the Windws Mail applicatin. Mve yur muse ver the accunt name, right muse click t shw the menu and chse Prperties. The Prperties Dialg will appear. Select the Advanced tab. Check n bth bxes This server requires a secure cnnectin (SSL). Make sure that the Outging mail (SMTP): is shwing 465. Make sure that the Incming mail (IMAP): is shwing 993. Click OK and yur accunt is ready t use. If yu chse t use POP3 yu will need t use the menu bar and chse Tls and Accunts... t bring up the accunt list again. Select yur new accunt and click Prperties buttn n the right side.

9 In the Prperties Dialg, select the Advanced tab. Check n bth bxes This server requires a secure cnnectin (SSL). Make sure that the Outging mail (SMTP): is shwing 465. Make sure that the Incming mail (POP3): is shwing 995. Click OK and yur accunt is ready t use.

10 Apple iphne Open the iphne's Settings app and chse Mail, Cntacts, Calendars In the Accunts panel select Add Accunt... then chse Other then chse Add Mail Accunt In the Enter yur accunt infrmatin panel, enter the fllwing infrmatin. In the Name field enter Yur name as it appears n yur In the Address field enter [email protected] In the Passwrd field enter yur CampusCruiser accunt passwrd Press the Save buttn t g t the next step. Chse either IMAP r POP3 server type In the Incming Mail Server sectin enters: Hst Name enters my.campuscruiser.cm User Name enters [email protected] Passwrd [enter yur CampusCruiser passwrd] In the Outging Mail Server sectin enters: Hst Name enters my.campuscruiser.cm User Name enters [email protected]

11 Passwrd [enter yur CampusCruiser passwrd] Press the Save buttn t save yur settings. At this pint yur iphne will attempt t validate yur accunt setting and will ask t cnnect with SSL. Chse Dn't cnnect using SSL, as we will manually set that ptins in later steps. Navigate back t the Accunts panel and select the accunt just created. Scrll twards the bttm and lk fr Outging Mail Server sectin and select SMTP

12 In the SMTP settings lcate the Use SSL field and switch the tggle t ON. Make sure the Server Prt field is shwing 465.

13 G back t the previus screen and chse Advanced just right abve the Delete Accunt buttn. In the Incming Settings sectin, lcate Use SSL and tggle it t ON. Make sure the Server Prt shws 993 if yu have selected IMAP r 995 if yu have selected POP3.
