2 Know Your Audience: NAEP Membership NAEP Mission Statement The mission of the National Association of Educational Procurement is to facilitate the development, exchange and practice of effective and ethical procurement principles and techniques within higher education and associated communities, through continuing education, networking, public information and advocacy. About NAEP Members: Of our approximately 1,000 members, it's an even split of public vs private schools. 81% are small/medium schools (less than 20k students). The majority of our membership is in the 5,000 9,999 range of full time students category. Nearly half of our Members have purchasing authority of $100 million dollars or more 30% has more than $250 Million in purchasing authority. 51% maintain vendor databases of over 5,000 vendors 30% have more than 10,000 vendors in their databases. Only 20% of our Members belong to NACUBO, 25% belong to NIGP to reach higher ed procurement you need to be a Business Affiliate in NAEP.
