2 exhibit Welcome Exhibitors! The Florida Association for Media in Education FAME cordially invites you to participate in the 43rd Annual FAME Conference in Orlando, Florida. Plan to join us to network with more than 600 FAME members who have funded budgets that make them qualified buyers. The exhibit hall is an integral part of the conference program, offering attendees the opportunity to gather information, preview material and see demonstrations on exciting, cutting-edge products and services relevant to education. The early discounted booth reservation deadline is August 21, Please refer to this document for details regarding how to secure your reservation and qualify for the discounted booth space rate. We invite you to peruse the tiers of sponsorships options to determine how your products can be most effectively represented at the 2015 FAME Conference. We look forward to seeing you at the beautiful Shingle Creek Resort on October 21, Ashlee Cornett & Maggie Josephsen FAME Exhibit Co-Chairs Dates, Location and Hours The 43rd Annual FAME Conference will be held at the Shingle Creek Resort, 9939 Universal Blvd., Orlando, FL The exhibit hall will be open October 21-23, Full payment is due with the Registration Form to reserve a space in the Exhibit Hall. Inclusion in the conference mobile app cannot be guaranteed for Exhibitors registering after October 14. Exhibit hours have been scheduled to provide maximum interaction between conference attendees and Exhibit representatives including no-conflict time. Vendor Presentations Vendors are encouraged to be active participants in the conference. A limited number of vendor presentations will be included in the 43rd Annual FAME Conference. Vendors must be registered to exhibit at the conference and have a Media Specialist co-presenter. The deadline for Proposal submission is June 30. The Call for Proposal form is located on the FAME website at org under the Annual Conference tab. Select Presenter Information and scan down to the Start Button. Confirmations will be sent upon receipt of the completed registration form and payment. Booth assignments will be made five weeks prior to the conference. Assignments will be made according to level of sponsorship, date of registration/ payment, and separation of competitive products. Indicate on the registration form any preferences you would like considered when the booth assignments are made. To avoid on-site delays, register all exhibit representatives in advance using the Exhibitor Registration Form on the last page of this brochure. Official Service Contractor BH&L Decorator is the official service contractor. A complete service kit with shipping instructions for booth materials, electrical service, furnishings, order forms, and additional information will be sent to each exhibitor approximately one month prior to the show. All freight should be consigned and prepaid to: BH&L Decorator. Do not send freight to the Shingle Creek Resort. Cancellation Policy Notification of cancellation by an exhibitor will only be considered official when submitted in writing to Sharon Gray at aplantomeet@earthlink.net and will be subject to the policy below based on date of receipt. Cancellation on or before August 21, Refund of 50% of booth space cost. Cancellation on or before September 21, Refund of 25% of booth space cost. Sponsorships are booked in the order in which payment is received. In the event a sponsorship has already been selected by another company, the exhibitor will be immediately notified so they can take advantage of the remaining opportunities. All sponsorships should be in place no later than September 21, to ensure inclusion in mobile app and printing of appropriate signage. 5 Friends of FAME Sponsorships The Friends of FAME program is designed to develop and recognize longterm relationships with publishers and exhibitors interested in supporting the mission and purpose of school library media centers. These sponsorships support FAME programs and the basic administration of the annual conference while providing benefits to the sponsors through higher visibility and recognition. Note: Donations can be directed to a specific sponsorship or can be applied according to the conference priorities to ensure a progressive and successful conference.
