2 Connect with Nonprofits, Grantmakers and Business Leaders from across the state Maryland Nonprofits, in partnership with the Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers (ABAG), will hold our annual conference on November 12 & 13, 2015 at the Hilton Rockville hotel. We expect nonprofit, foundation, government, and business leaders to participate in this highly interactive and content-rich event. Exhibitors will be placed throughout the pre-meeting and networking area to allow maximum exposure to conference attendees. Recognizing the critical partnership between nonprofits and funders in affecting the change we seek in our communities, ABAG has joined its strategic partner Maryland Nonprofits to present the 2015 Annual Conference. Through this conference and partnership, ABAG seeks to increase the impact of its members by sharing expertise, influencing good governance of nonprofits, and increasing opportunities for dialogue and collaboration. ABAG is the network, resource and voice for philanthropy in Maryland, representing more than 80% of the region s giving assets. New this Year! Conference Mobile App This year s conference will be supported by a mobile application that attendees will access on their phones. All conference information will be included in the app: agendas, handouts, interactive maps, social media, and lists of attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors. See a sample screenshot below, featuring a prominent location for sponsors and exhibitors. Sponsors and exhibitor listings can be organized alphabetically by company name, by category, or by sponsorship level. Within each profile, sponsors can provide the following information: Company Logo Exhibit Table Location Contact Information Business Description Images Documents Attendees can bookmark their favorite exhibitors and sponsors, take notes to review later, and share their contact information with you via the app. 2

6 STANDARDS FOR EXCELLENCE AWARDS LUNCHEON ($7,500) Be recognized for Excellence. This opportunity will allow you to be recognized, provide brief remarks during the awards ceremony in front of the entire conference audience, and present awards to Seal of Excellence recipients. Engage with attendees throughout the day, as well as foster new relationships with Maryland Nonprofits network outside of the event through Associate Membership. Terrific photo opps!! We think it s important that leaders of small, emerging, and community-based nonprofits have the opportunity to attend. Your sponsorship will enable registration for up to 20 people who could not otherwise afford to come. 11 Terms and Conditions PAYMENT Exhibiting and sponsorship is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment in full is due 30 days from submission of completed Exhibitor/Sponsor registration form, unless additional terms are negotiated with Maryland Nonprofits. Sponsorship fees are non-refundable. EXHIBITING INFORMATION Exhibit space entails one 6 x 2 skirted table. Access to electricity and internet will be provided. Maryland Nonprofits reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to designate exhibit space or make changes in the location, size, layout, arrangement, and display limits of the exhibits. Placement of Exhibitor/Sponsor is contingent upon level of sponsorship and in the order in which payment in full is received. Although not guaranteed, we do our best not to place competitors directly next to or adjacent to each other in the limited space available. The Exhibitor/Sponsor understands exhibit set-up times are not negotiable. The Exhibitor/Sponsor may arrive as early as 7:00 am and must be set by 8:00 am. Failure to set up by 8:00 am may result in a less desirable exhibit space without consideration towards refund of paid fees. Breakdown of exhibit tables may not begin prior to 1:45pm and must be completed by 4pm. RECEIPT OF BENEFITS All information requested of the Exhibitor/Sponsor by Maryland Nonprofits to fulfill benefits must be received by October 15, Sponsor will receive instructions for submitting this information upon receipt of sponsorship form and payment. Information submitted to Maryland Nonprofits will be considered complete and final. Maryland Nonprofits is not responsible for typographical, grammatical, or other errors in information submitted by the Exhibitor/Sponsor. FORCE MAJEURE Maryland Nonprofits shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay due to occurrence of any circumstances beyond the control of Maryland Nonprofits such as acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation facilities to the extent that such circumstances makes it illegal or impossible to provide or use the venue s facilities.
