4 Choosing Your Level I have achieved the best grade on my course, I didn t think it was possible. My tutor gave me the confidence to believe Understanding the Levels and Entry requirements Employers and educational institutions like universities, measure your qualifications in levels. Identifying your level will highlight the range of routes available to you and what type of qualification you will achieve. If you do not have any formal qualifications, you will be assessed to match you to the appropriate course and level. E Entry LevelS 1, 2 & 3 Entry level courses are for beginners and are designed to assist you in gaining basic knowledge and skills. The courses are college based & practical. Foundation: Level 1 Foundation level courses are designed to allow you to gain basic knowledge of jobs, business and industry and are the first steps to gaining a vocational qualification, with a strong practical element.
