4 North Lindsey College offers a huge range of full and part-time courses, which includes A levels, vocational qualifications or a combination of both. Apprenticeships are also available as well as higher education courses at the College s University Centre. This brochure focuses on part-time courses. Please see our website or contact Customer Services for further details on all of our courses. Enrolment All courses must be paid for at the time of enrolment. The prices quoted are for tuition fees. Additional fees are for the cost of any materials, certification and/or examination fees. Methods of payment: Cash Cheque Debit/Credit card Direct debit instalments (subject to length and cost of the course) Employers will be invoiced for course fees where learners provide a letter of authority or purchase order from their employer at the time of enrolment. Fee Remission on Part-time Courses You may not have to pay course fees if you fall into one of the following categories: You are aged enrolling on a course with a subsidised fee You are aged 19 or over enrolling on English or Maths courses at Level 2 or below You are aged between enrolling on your first full Level 2 or 3 course If you are aged 19 or over enrolling on a course at Level 2 or below or aged enrolling on a Level 3 course, are currently seeking employment and in receipt of one of the following benefits: - Job Seekers Allowance - Employment Support Allowance - Universal Credit - Working Tax Credit(less than 15,276)* - Council Tax Benefit* - Income Support* - Housing Benefit* - Pension Credits* (*Must be unemployed) Persons aged 24 or over Please note that people aged 24 or over wishing to enrol on a Level 3 or 4 course will be subject to the full fee (irrespective of employment status) and should enquire at Customer Services regarding 24+ Advanced Learning Loans, which may be available for full Level 3 and 4 qualifications. Persons aged under 16 If you are under 16 please enquire at Customer Services regarding fees as, for school age students, these may be considerably higher than stated in this brochure. Annual Fees Please note that all fees listed in this brochure are annual fees i.e. if the course runs across more than one year the fee is chargeable in each year. Overseas Students The fees listed in this brochure are for UK and EU/EEA citizens and may vary if you are from outside these areas. If you are an overseas student please discuss the cost of your course with Customer Services. This information is correct at 7th November 2013, and may be subject to change. The course you are enrolling on must be intended to help you obtain employment. In the above cases you will be asked to sign a declaration that you are in receipt of the benefit and you are seeking employment. Please note: Fee remission is only available on courses with a subsidised fee. 11 Adult Community Learning Adult Community Learning provides daytime and evening courses to anyone aged 16 and above across North Lincolnshire. We also offer bespoke training services to local employers and businesses across the county. We believe learning is at the heart of a successful and thriving community. Enrolment You can enrol by completing an enrolment form and returning it (with payment and evidence to support a reduced/nil fee if applicable) to: Ashby Link Adult Community Learning Centre Barton Adult Community Learning Centre Or a North Lincolnshire Council Local Link office (excluding Church Square) Alternatively you can enrol online on the North Lincolnshire Council website for some courses. Visit to see what s on in your area. Please ensure you read and keep the terms and conditions of enrolment which you will find on your enrolment form. It is also important to read the statement of learner entitlements and responsibilities, which is available in each centre. If you would like to enrol by post, please ensure you enclose the following: Completed enrolment form/s Cheque payable to North Lincolnshire Council, or debit/credit card details Evidence to support your claim for reduced/ nil fee Please assume you have been successful in securing a place on the course of your choice unless you are notified to the contrary.
