Knowledge of Report 191 policies (entrance and ICAS requirements); Experience in employing various integrated training methods; Excellent management and organisational skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must be able to work under pressure and adapt to changes in the sector SENIOR LECTURER: ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION PL2 (Starting salary notch R p.a. plus benefits) An appropriate Engineering degree or Engineering diploma with at least 3 years relevant industry experience; A trade test certificate in Electrical Engineering, LIGHT CURRENT; a teacher s qualification with minimum of 3 years relevant teaching experience; managerial experience will be an added advantage; Assessor and/or Moderator training will be an added advantage; it is a requirement that all educators be registered with SACE; be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and internet.

2 KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Sound report writing; Teach various electrical subjects on the NQF level 2 to NQF level 4; Promotion of quality in teaching and learning; Monitoring of student performance; Monitor and ensure adherence to the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant health & safety regulations in all laboratories and workshops; Implementation of ISAT s in the workshop; Assist with the procuring of Safety Clothing and ICASS/ISAT material for the workshops. COMPETENCIES Excellent management and organisational skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Must be prepared to work, if and the need arises, at any of the college campuses; Must be prepared to take and implement instructions delegated by supervisors/managers; Must be able to work under pressure and adopt to changes in the TVET sec SENIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICER: ASSET MANAGEMENT SL 8 (starting notch R p.a. plus benefits) Administration Centre Grade 12 /B Comm degree with Accounting 3; At least 3 years relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Auditing; Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office); Valid driver s licence Maintain a complete and accurate fixed asset register and supporting document (asset details, depreciation, etc.); Reconcile fixed asset register to accounting records and deal with any differences; Develop and improve procedure to ensure that assets are administered properly; Physical inspection and tagging of assets; Record details of asset (description, value,location ); Providing support to cost centre managers in the counting and verification of all assets; Monitoring of the tracking of any movement of assets and ensuring the movements are properly recorded; Identifying (and listing) assets that are in poor condition; Assist with updating of fixed asset register; Administration of assets by way of reporting and gathering supporting documentation (additions, disposals, etc.); Any other matters relating to the administration of fixed assets; Reporting on fixed assets; Supervise all staff in the fixed asset unit; Any other duties as assigned by the line manager or his/her nominee; Must be prepared to take and implement instructions delegated by supervisors/managers. Frontline duties (filing, record keeping, switchboard, reception/enquiries, messages, faxing and photocopying); Capturing of data; Assist staff, visitors and students with queries; Scheduling and arranging of courses, including bookings, quotations, learning material and certificates; Follow-up of marketing efforts with prospective clients from database; General Administration including the preparation of meetings and taking minutes, correspondence, organizing of venues, informing relevant people, prepare relevant documents; Typing, updating and creating documents and records: timetables, schedules, reports, booklists, contracts, data base, results of learners, training materials and certificates; Provide assistance in the administration and maintenance of Project records (PoE) and student registration; Corporate Services support, i.e. control of leave forms and recruitment; Management of support staff. SPORT, ARTS AND CULTURE COACHES Coach 3 hrs per day for 3 days per week and attend matches/competitions R pm allowance Coaches in the following sports are required to apply for 2017 coaching positions: Rugby (9 Months); Netball (8 Months); Choir (6 Months); Dance Sport (8 Months); Volleyball (9 Months); Basketball (9 Months) Each candidate shall be required to meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for shortlisting: Sport specific coaching qualification (endorsed by national federation) plus 3 years coaching experience or 8 years playing experience at first team level; Ability to speak English; Valid code 8 drivers licence with PDP; Thorough knowledge of sport specific set up and policies in South Africa; Ability to work after hours and over weekends; Ability to travel with teams for out of town fixtures; Ability to travel with teams for CoSSA and CASAC tournaments in March/July/October; Page 7

WORK HOURS: The Coach will report to the College s Sports, Arts and Culture administrator and shall be expected to coach for a minimum of six hours per week, excluding traveling and attending matches/ competitions. HOSTEL SUPERVISORS 2 positions in Female Hostels and 1 position in Male Hostels Allowance of R2800 per month and subsidised single hostel accommodation 1 year performance based contract M+3 qualification; A teaching qualification will be an added advantage; A minimum of two years experience in a supervisory capacity; Supervisory experience in a hostel environment will be an added advantage; Be computer literate in MS Word, Ms Excel, Ms Outlook and Ms PowerPoint (attach proof of relevant certificates); Must be prepared to reside in the relevant hostel at a subsidised rental (only single accommodation is available).
