2 Lively District Secndary Schl Advanced Placement Prgram Advanced Placement Admissin Requirements Students will be admitted t the AP Prgram if they meet the fllwing requirements. AP Enrichment (Grade 9) Students must demnstrate a strng academic backgrund in the cre subjects. Admissin is based n all f the fllwing: - a minimum average f 75% in English, math, science, histry and gegraphy - the recmmendatin f Grade 8 academic teacher(s) and/r the principal - learning skills that suggest self-discipline and cmmitment t academic success - cmpletin f the applicatin frm with the necessary dcumentatin - attendance f student and parent/guardian(s) at an rientatin/interview sessin in the spring prir t entry, if requested Students wh have demnstrated success in their three years f AP Enrichment will be admitted t the culminating year f the AP Prgram. At the end f the grade 12 year, students will take part in Standardized Exams that measure individual perfrmance against stated bjectives fr each subject. Students frm acrss the wrld sit dwn t write a cmmn exam at the same time. Students will have a range f curses frm which t chse the exams that they will write. The applicatin package fr the Advanced Placement Prgram is attached. Students applying t this prgram will be reviewed by the schl principal and cmplete the selectin prcess.
