3 SOUTHWEST VR CONFERENCE, FEBRUARY 2015 Last year s event was the biggest of its kind in the UK, attracting an international audience of 250 VR specialists and press to engage in talks, demos and meetings. A number of high-profile industry-leading delegates and speakers at the event included Sony, Microsoft, Pinewood, Oculus, Samsung and NBCUniversal. 5 WHAT S THERE? Main Track VR World Congress s main track will feature talks and panels with some of the world s most informed VR personalities. This is where you ll find the executive speakers, game developers and 360 movie makers. Subjects on the bill will include, but not be limited to lessons learned creating VR content, bringing VR to the mainstream and social VR. Last year saw talks from Sony, Alchemy VR, Bossa, Third Floor Inc., ndreams, and Ultrahaptics to name but a few. AMD, BBC Natural History, Frontier Developments and ndreams are already confirmed speakers for 2016, expect to see more big names added soon. Tech Track Our tech track is the place for developers and hardcore VR enthusiasts to connect and learn, with seminars from some of the sharpest minds in the VR development scene. Last year included talks from Unity 3D, Wizdish Elzware, Lush VR and Hammerhead VR. Expect to see topics ranging from VR locomotion to artificial intelligence, Unity, Unreal and beyond. We re currently accepting submissions for talks so get in touch if you d like to speak. Expo Area We ll be making booths of varying sizes available to companies from a range of industries. Expect to see demos from games, engineering, software houses, architectural visualisation, medical training, 360 films and VR experiences like you ve never seen before.
