2 Our state of the art conferencing venue We can; Hold conferences or seminars for up to 240 people theatre style, or 96 cabaret style in our Digital Theatre. Offer syndicate or conference rooms of various sizes for anything from web conferences to board meetings. Train up to ten people at a time with desk top learning in our IT training suite. Provide award winning hospitality from our in-house caterers. Enhance your creative thinking and problem solving sessions by using T he Zone, a thought provoking environment with curved whiteboard walls to capture your ideas. 1

3 Our purpose built training centre We have; Fourteen air-conditioned, naturally lit training rooms. A 60 seat conferencing room. A person Media Suite with video and audio conferencing equipment. 2

4 Relax, you re in safe hands We make sure that; Our Booking Team is available 8am to 4pm. You can contact us directly on Monday to Friday. You book the right accommodation and equipment to make your event a success. W e check that accommodation is available at the time you need it. We record all your event details electronically by sending you an interactive booking form to complete. You get an from us confirming your booking details. 3

6 Advice and guidance when you need it We re here to help you with; Planning your event. You will be appointed an Event Co-ordinator who will be your first point of contact during your time with us. Room layout and furniture setup. Deciding on the AV and IT equipment you need. Requesting your hospitality. Organising any parking. Loading pre-prepared presentational materials before your event. Providing additional equipment other than the desktop PC, flipchart and projector or LCD screen provided as standard in each room. Setting up video or audio conferences. Arranging a meeting with a member of one of our Creative or IT teams. Please ask the Booking Team or your Event Co-ordinator for more details 5

7 What to do when you get here You need to know that; Any reserved parking spaces, including any disabled bays will be clearly signposted in the RLDC carpark. Our receptionists will be here to greet you when you arrive at RLDC and show you to your accommodation. The receptionist will issue you with a visitor pass or name badge which must be worn throughout the day and handed in when leaving the facility. Our opening times for both RLDC buildings are 8.30am until 4.30pm, you will have been advised which building is hosting your event in your booking confirmation . Some more information you might need to know; RLDC has accessible toilet facilities and wheel chairs can be used in all conference rooms. Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings. 6

8 Have the confidence to be creative Our design team will help with; F ull theatre support, from lighting and sound to autocue and interactive audience voting. Filming and photographing your event. We will edit your footage and supply it in a variety of formats and supply your photographs digitally. Some more information you might need to know; RLDC holds PRS and PPL broadcast and music licences to allow the public broadcasting of recorded music and video to support your event. 7

9 Technical support when you need it Our IT team are here; T o give you advice and information about any IT related issues when planning your event. To prepare your IT requirements as indicated on your booking form. On-call to help with any IT issues during your stay with us. To provide wireless internet access for individual or team activities. 8

10 How to find us Directions Leave the M4 at Junction 45. Take the A4067 sign-posted Swansea. Then take the first slip road off the dual carriageway and then first left at the roundabout. At the next roundabout take the first exit. Then at the next roundabout take the third exit and the RLDC is immediately on your left.
