The Made in Italy Awards is the official international excellence award that recognizes best Made in Italy businesses, products and notable individuals. With the mission of creating a bridge between Italy and United States, promote Made in Italy products, business and arts and educate the American market on everything Italian, the Made in Italy Awards were established in 1999 in New York by Italia Magazine and held two editions, in 1999 with award ceremony at World Trade Center Plaza and in 2000 with award ceremony at Cipriani 42 nd Street, both in New York. Future plans include the execution of the Made in Italy Awards in China and Russia.
Past Editions Past editions saw the presence of several important personalities and most important Italian companies. Melba Ruffo di Calabria as host along with celebrities and VIPs like Grace Jones, Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Marisa Laurito, Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, Renzo Rosso, Michael Nouri, Billy Zane, Carmen Kass, Fabrizio del Noce, Ivana Trump. Among past winners: Bulgari, Diesel, Ferrari, Antinori, Versace and many others.
The 2015 Award Ceremony The Award will be designed with the aim to create a trademark for the award similar to the Oscar statuette. It will be designed by the designer Domenico Vacca. The Award Ceremony will be hosted by an American and an Italian celebrities. The 2015 edition of the Made in Italy Awards will be held back in New York in September during the Fashion Week. The Made in Italy Awards are under the Patronage of: ITA Italian Trade Agency, RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana and other important endorsers.

Contents Welcome Cocktail: will be hosted at the Venue main floor bar while attendees will walk-in, register and take a picture at the step-and-repeat. Gala Dinner: the event will host a Gala Dinner for 800 attendees, 80 tables/10 attendees each. Fashion Show: during the event a collective fashion show will take place. A monobrand fashion show would also happen in the event of a sponsorship agreement with a fashion firm. Prize: each winner will receive the Made in Italy Award Statuette. Gift Bag: when leaving the venue each attendee will receive a Made in Italy Awards branded bag containing gifts from Sponsors. Step & Repeat: at the entrance of the Venue will show Sponsors logos along with Made in Italy Awards logo. Movies: sponsors may display parts of their corporate movies at walk-in time. Walk-in movie will be edited by Made in Italy Awards. Each category will also be introduced by a 30 movie.
Contents Suites: Sponsors may have customized areas ( Suites ) where to display and promote latest products or collection. Displays: Sponsors may rent displays to show and promote latest products or collection. Catalogue: the Made in Italy Awards catalogue will feature editorial services focused on Made in Italy Awards Sponsors and Award Winners in addition to the directory of the Gala attendees for networking opportunities. Live Entertainment: in addition to the live Fashion Show, during the Made in Italy Awards Ceremony will be scheduled live entertainment shows with AltaPressione and the two times Grammy Award winner Maxwell. Dancing & DJ Set: after the Awards Ceremony the venue will be open to host a Dancing Party for about 2,000 people. A famous Italian DJ will perform a live DJ Set. Live Streaming: the website www.madeinitalyawards.tv will broadcast the entire event live.
