A One. Q Who s there to help them? A Urban Peak, Colorado s only non-profit organization for helping youth experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. Additionally, Urban Peak will help youth ages overcome their challenges by providing essential services, a safe community, and empowering them to become self-sufficient adults. Q Does Denver really have a problem with homeless youth? A YES! Facts don t lie: On any given day, more than 750 youth experience homelessness or are on the verge of becoming homeless. In 2014 Urban Peak served more than 2,600 youth at its Denver location. 1 in 3 homeless youth is under the age of in 3 homeless youth is recruited for the purpose of human trafficking within 48 hours of leaving home.
