3 OZTalk Overview Our Vision OZTalk Travel Expo aims to provide New Zealanders a first hand experience of Australia s unique and compelling travel experiences. The 2-day trade show provides frontline travel agents in NZ and the Pacific with a strong training and networking platform through interaction with Australia tourism products and regional tourism operators. The 1-day consumer expo provides an opportunity to engage and inspire NZ. Australia not only remains New Zealander s #1 destination of choice with over 1.1 million Kiwi s crossing the Tasman each year, but this key event brings key stakeholders together to ensure continued sustainability and growth from this market and of Australian tourism sales. 5 OZTalk Travel Trade Expo Welcome Function As the first social event of OZ Talk 2009, the Welcome Function is the ideal opportunity to engage with key agents focused on selling Australia and our international guests representing key Australian tourism operators. Hosted in one of Auckland's premier venues St Mathews Cathedral, attendees will enjoy quality Australian inspired cuisine and fine wines. The Welcome Function is the corner stone to any event and will set the scene perfectly for successful three days of OZTalk 2009! Incorporated will be an awards presentation, scheduled speeches and a sponsor acknowledgement. There is also an opportunity for the sponsor to insert one piece of marketing collateral each for buyers and sellers, into the bags. All delegates will receive a quality delegate bag for use at OZTalk and a personal piece of luggage post the event.
