2 TH EACD CONFERENCE 01 Amsterdam, January 01 Dear all, On behalf of the general board of the European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD) I am pleased to invite you f the th annual meeting from the 1th till 0th of May 01, in RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The EACD annual meeting is a leading multidisciplinary meeting in the field of pediatric rehabilitation f children with a disability, like cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disders, spina bifida, autism, developmental codination disder, genetic and metabolic diseases. It is an opptunity to meet colleagues: pediatricians, pediatric neurologists, - thopedic surgeons, - physiatrists, pediatric physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and other paramedical professionals, psychosocial, thopedagogical and technical professions in the field of pediatric rehabilitation, concerning patient care and scientific research. Also, parents/client ganizations are involved in the conference. About 00 participants are expected from most countries in Europe, but also from the Middle East, USA, Canada and Australia. The theme of the conference will be: Steps into the future, focusing new developments in the field of pediatric rehabilitation. Themes of the conference will be clinical use of movement analysis, long term effects of treatment, physical activity and fitness, assistive technology, development of data registers and ganization of health care, family focused intervention, participation and autonomy in a life- long perspective. These themes are overarching f the different diagnosis groups. RAI Convention Centre is a recently renovated modern convention center with sufficient possibilities f exhibitions, integrated in the conference venue. The airpt Schiphol is nearby, with an excellent connection by public transptation. Schiphol has direct flights to most of the European cities and to many destinations in the USA, Middle East and Asia. The histic city of Amsterdam offers an excellent environment f a social program in a relaxing atmosphere. On behalf of the local ganizing committee of the department of rehabilitation medicine of VU University Medical Center Amsterdam, I am happy to offer you opptunities f exhibition and sponsing at this leading conference in pediatric rehabilitation. The conference ganizers reserve the right to make decisions about appropriate sponss and to refuse sponsship of ganizations that do not match the values behind and the theme of the conference. This will be in consultation with the president of the conference. An invoice will be issued upon receipt of the booking. Payment should be made within 0 days of the date of the invoice except when another term f payment is specified in the invoice the spons confirmation. Non-receipt of payment may result in release of reserved exhibition space. Offers are limited and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Prices higher than the mentioned amount of the selected categy will be charged additionally. VAT will be charged additionally when required by Dutch tax authities. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations received befe 1st of November 01 will be accepted at no costs f the exhibit. 50% refund of full payment will be provided if cancelled after 1st of November 01.
