TELFER HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATION ENGAGE ACHIEVE PROMOTE CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP PACKAGE 2015-2016
ABOUT US The Telfer Human Resources Association (HRA) is a student-run organization within the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. The association has been part of the Telfer School of Management for decades, but was rebranded six years ago and has flourished since with an aspiration to provide students with the unique opportunity to establish valuable connections, further develop their knowledge of attainable designations in the field of Human Resources (CHRP), and to allow students to challenge themselves. Any proceeds that are raised through sponsorship are used to coordinate professional networking events and case competitions for the students at the Telfer School of Management, with 100% of the proceeds going towards the organization. Engage Achieve Promote A WELCOME FROM THE PRESIDENT I would like to thank you for considering a partnership with the Human Resources Association this year. We are lucky to have an extremely enthusiastic, passionate and driven team that has a variety of interests and strengths, who are working to help the association grow and thrive this year. This year is an exciting one to partner with our association because we are working on repositioning the perception that many students hold of the Human Resources field. Traditionally regarded as quite transactional, the field has now adopted a strategic role that is key to the success of any organization. This year, we will be introducing a new internal case competition, as well as attending the Queen s Inter-Collegiate Business Competition, which provides you with the opportunity to have your brand associated with the academic excellence of Telfer student leaders. Our association s goals reflect today s realities in the workplace and the evolving importance of Human Resources professionals, and we invite your organization to join us in achieving these goals. We guarantee that through partnering with the HRA, your organization will be given a unique opportunity to maximize recognition and visibility of your brand and its products and services, and to connect directly with students at the Telfer School of Management. Enclosed is an overview of our events, as well as the sponsorship packages we offer. On behalf of the Telfer Human Resources Association, thank you for your consideration. Kseniya Stogniy President
