ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 2015 What could make this event even bigger and better? The 2015 Battle of the Bay will be joining forces with the the World Paddle Association! The WPA has announced this years Battle of the Bay will be their final event of the season. We are expecting our attendance to double and the beaches of Crissy Field to be lined with spectators! The World Paddle Associa<on Announces the 2015 BaAle of the Bay WPA Championships The World Paddle AssociaIon, in cooperaion with the BaKle of the Bay, announces the 2015 WPA Championships. This year s event will be officially named The BaKle of the Bay WPA Championship to be held on October 17 & 18, 2015, at Crissy Field, located within Presidio NaIonal Park in San Francisco, CA. The BaKle of the Bay WPA Championships will serve as the WPA season finale, offering $15,000 in prize money and the final race of the Salt Life Cup WPA NaIonal race series. The top Male and Female point earners in the Elite division will compete for the $8,500 Salt Life Cup total bonus money. CompeItors who have competed in a minimum of three Salt Life Cup WPA NaIonal events in 2015 will qualify for the bonus money and 2015 Salt Life Cup Champion. 3
The Battle of the Bay WPA Championships is the largest single event of its kind in the San Francisco Bay Area.
