2 Muskie Expo was created to promote and secure the future of Muskie Fishing in America. To best promote our message, we have chosen the platform of the "All Muskie Show". Our show is the grass-roots creation of down-to-earth hard-working families that share a true love of Muskie Fishing. The goal of Muskie Expo is straight forward and simple: to promote, enhance, and create opportunities and experiences that will positively impact families and their community.

3 our mission Our mission is to promote the Muskie Industry: Sponsors, manufacturers, resorts, guides, and organizations. The forefront of our approach is to create an environment where families, clubs and the community gain greater awareness of Muskie fishing opportunities and can learn more about manufacturers, resorts, guides and other organizations. Through sponsorships, businesses are able to showcase their support of Muskie fishing through our Muskie Expo directly to their target audience, making our show quite unique. Muskie Expo is supported by Muskie equipment manufacturers, fishing and conservation clubs and organizations, Muskie guides, the boating industry, and anglers. We are the leader in promoting the Muskie Industry in a trade show type of environment. We believe in enhancing our American communities to create a positive impact, through kid-friendly programs, education for all levels of anglers, and positive economic impact. We will accomplish this through promotion in print, radio, internet and television.

Protecting and sharing the opportunities for quality Muskie fishing. low entry fees: We want to ensure the Muskie Expos in Milwaukee and Chicago are affordable for everyone to encourage greater participation and greater exposure for our sponsors. education and conservation: We will educate and promote conservation of our outdoor resources. If we teach others to leave nature better that when you found it, our Muskie fishing community will be remembered in a positive light as stewards of our environment. innovation: We encourage the introduction of new innovative products, new ideas to the Muskie marketplace and a platform to show off and market the product/ideas. looking to the future: Engaging the younger generation is the key to preserving our outdoor heritage. Our Kids Day allows children and families to experience fishing, conservation and learn a new respect for our outdoor way of life, leading to increased interest in conservation efforts. 6 the muskie expo advantage hands-on approach: We take a hands-on approach with Muskie anglers to gather in one place a showcase of Muskie equipment manufacturers, guides, resorts, boating manufacturers, and clubs/organizations. In this venue, they will gain valuable knowledge to make them more successful on the water, and will remember which companies helped them achieve that success. We project over 16,000 Muskie anglers participating in our two events; MUSKIE EXPO Milwaukee is projecting over 6,000 attendees and MUSKIE EXPO Chicago is projecting 10,000 attendees. We build excitement for the show and for our sponsor partners through interviews with past attendees along with footage of past Muskie Expos ( This year we expect to have over 400 ads air on television. internet: MuskieExpo.com utilizes a multimedia approach to maximize exposure on the internet. Offering informative articles, photographs, audio and video we are able to target all Muskie anglers across the United States and have even extended our reach globally. We offer our site visitors an inside view of the show, offer additional information about our sponsors, and showcase the fun of Muskie fishing while sharing tactics and ideas on how to improve their fishing. social media: We are currently on Facebook and Twitter, and also actively participate in Muskie and general fishing forums. radio: Our seminar speakers are interviewed by a number of radio stations, adding to the excitement surrounding our events. This also offers an opportunity to showcase the kind of quality information and education that will be available at our events. print: We continue to heavily advertise and receive coverage in Muskie magazines and Outdoor papers as well as local newspapers.

8 seminars Our seminars are packed full of excited Muskie anglers, all looking for that next best product, guide, boat, lake, and/or technique to give them that edge they are looking for to catch that trophy Muskie. An example of just a few: see like a muskie There will be a demonstration tank with cameras broadcasting directly to big-screen televisions to show the action of Muskie lures and allow anglers see what their baits are actually doing underwater. hear like a muskie A submersible microphone is placed in the water and magnifies each lure s sound over large speakers allowing anglers to better understand the acoustics of each lure. tactics A professional angler will discuss (and show visually in the tank) various Muskie lures and explain new and innovative ways to employ them. finding fish A professional angler will discuss new approaches to locating Muskies. This will be an in-depth look at where trophy Muskies seek cover in various times of the day and under various conditions.

9 how to clinics minute small classroom-style clinics will offer powerful hands-on approaches for a variety of topics. From the proper way to unhook a Muskie to the proper way of tying various knots, attendees will walk away with the knowledge and tools to increase their success on the water. Each attendee will also receive literature showcasing our sponsors. There will even be expert advice on the proper maintenance of Muskie reels. Clinics will run all three days of each show and schedules will be posted on the website as well as signs near the clinics. world championship muskie lure-building contest As every angler has an idea that could become the next innovative lure, we started the first ever World Championship Muskie Lure-Building Contest. Each contestant fills out an application with a modest entry fee of $10 to enter the contest. All lures submitted are displayed on tables in a 20-foot booth at each Muskie Expo. Neutral judges will evaluate each submission on performance, craftsmanship and various other features (outlined in the rules and regulations of the contest). We have 10 different skill levels to allow everyone a fair chance. Entries will be on display at both Expos and the champion for both Expos will be announced on the Sunday of the Milwauke Expo. All lures will be auctioned, with all proceeds benefiting non-profit organizations dedicated to the education and exposure of children to the great sport of Muskie fishing.
