2 BACKGROUND & OPPORTUNITY PMS 3005 PMS 2915 PMS 2975 PMS 485 Silicon Valley Community Foundation is proud to announce a multi-year commitment to hosting Silicon Valley Gives as part of a movement designed to ignite the spirit of giving across the nation to support causes in the communities where we live, work and play HIGHLIGHTS 1,800 $8m 5m 200, individuals attended free training sessions in 21 gatherings held throughout the region that covered topics from building a social media presence to developing a communications plan was raised and distributed to participating nonprofits impressions: 16 newspapers, 9 billboards and transit shelters, 12 retail locations, 99 movie screens and 8 websites viewers were reached through NBC Bay Area broadcast television during 40 minutes of air time between 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. nonprofits participated and received the $8 million in funds raised through SVGives Our inaugural event, which took place on May 6, 2014 over a 24-hour period, was a brilliant demonstration of philanthropy s power and potential. Leveraging investments from nearly 100 sponsors through a single online platform, SVGives raised over $8 million from over 14,000 individuals to support charitable causes in our community. Key supporters are critical in ensuring the success of SVGives. We are currently seeking strategic partners to join SVCF to support financial match and prize opportunities. The following pages outline opportunities for your involvement.

Match and prize opportunities allow you to leverage your philanthropic dollars and in-kind donations for even greater community impact.
