1 Csmetlgy Career and Cllege Prmise Cperative Prgram Agreement Csmetlgy Career and Cllege Prmise (High Schl) Prgram Guidelines Prgram Backgrund Wake Technical Cmmunity Cllege (WTCC) in cnjunctin with Wake Cunty Public Schl System (WCPSS) has established Csmetlgy fr area high schl students. WTCC will supply basic supplies fr students t use and WCPSS will supply bks fr the prgram. Upn successful cmpletin f ne year f Career and Cllege Prmise csmetlgy curses, students enrlled in this prgram will receive 4 high schl credits and up t 448 hurs twards a csmetlgy degree. Students wh enter the Wake Tech csmetlgy prgram after high schl graduatin can apply these credits twards a csmetlgy assciate s degree. Student s Respnsibility Students must purchase the fllwing t be enrlled in the prgram: Supplies must be brught n the first day f class Cmplete Unifrm must be wrn n first day f class. Either , text befre first day OR, n the first day f schl, yu must bring a valid 1. NCID r NCDL and yur 2. SS Card with yu. If yu d nt have these items, yu can t attend ur prgram. 3 Student s Qualificatins fr entrance int prgram The student must meet all respnsibilities as stated abve and must: 1. Fllw calendar dates prvided by WTCC 2. Prvide wn transprtatin t and frm WTCC CAT Express bus t WTCC may be used with schl and parental permissin 3. Abide by WTCC handbk and Csmetlgy rules and regulatins 4. Obtain apprval frm parent, high schl cunselr/cdc, and high schl principal (as nted n dual enrllment frm) 5. Be available t attend M-F frm 1pm 4:12pm (times subject t vary slightly) Plicies and Rules Attendance, needed fr grades and actual hurs f the prgram, is very imprtant. Please make utside appintments arund the class schedule. Attendance issues can result in remval frm prgram. Grades Instructr will be submit grades t WTCC and apprpriate high schl persnnel at the end f each semester The fllwing grading scale will be used: A = B = C =70-79 D = F = 59 and Belw Evaluatin 60% Daily Grades; including Practical and Thery Lab and class Hmewrk and class wrk Classrm activities Prjects Classrm participatin Ethics

SECTION LICENSURE OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OF A FELONY 21 NCAC 14I.0401 APPLICATION/LICENSURE/INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OF FELONY (a) Any applicant cnvicted f a felny r charged with a felny that is still pending may apply fr Bard apprval upn enrllment in a csmetic art schl. All dcumentatin submitted shall have n effect n an individual's ability t attend a csmetic art schl, take an examinatin administered by the Bard, r apply fr a license; is nt binding n the Bard with respect t any future applicatin frm the individual reviewed; and is nt a final agency decisin. (b) The applicant shall supply the fllwing; (1) A statement f facts f the crime accmpanied by a certified cpy f the indictment (r, in the absence f an indictment, a cpy f the "infrmatin" that initiated the frmal judicial prcess), the judgment and any cmmitment rder fr each felny fr which there has been a cnvictin; (2) A cpy f the applicant's restratin f rights certificate, if applicable; (3) At least three letters attesting t the applicant's character frm individuals unrelated by bld r marriage. If available, ne f these letters must be frm smene familiar with the applicant's csmetlgy training and experience, ne frm the applicant's prbatin r parle fficer, and ne frm the applicant's vcatinal rehabilitatin fficer.
