2 Course Trainer Joanne Sweeney-Burke EDUCATION Joanne holds a first class honours Masters Degree in Journalism, a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Print and Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations, a Degree in English, Sociology & Politics, a Diploma in Business Management, a Certificate in Mentoring and Managing People and she is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Digital Marketing. Business Experience In 2008 after 10 years working in business and communications Joanne founded her first company Media Box just as the recession hit Ireland. Despite the languishing economic environment, Joanne drove forward and built a strong brand while working with the top companies in their sector in Ireland. Media Box specialises in public relations, traditional marketing, digital marketing, design and web development and event management. The lack of knowledge and skills among parents led her to start working on a new module for Transition Year students.
