1 ongo Job Title: Digital Marketing Officer Department: PR & Marketing Team: Digital Services Team Grade: 7 Overall Purpose of Job Your job is to be the digital expert within our PR & Marketing team, driving online engagement with our customers and increasing traffic to our websites by making sure all our digital communications are designed around the best possible customer experience. Main Responsibilities Plan and implement strategies to market ongo services digitally through our company websites and all major social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. Improve usability, design and content of our websites so they achieve high conversion rates. Ensure brand consistency is always delivered online. Track online performance and use the data to improve website design and content. Work within a project team, supporting departments in improving their digital offering and designing their online services around customer need and experience. Be the main point of contact for our external web development agency, maintaining a strong business relationship, providing clear and timely briefs and ensuring tasks are delivered to specification and budget. Work with customers to understand their digital journeys, using their feedback to improve online services and content. Deliver training, both inhouse and through the procurement of external suppliers, to improve digital capabilities of colleagues across the business. Source and create engaging content, incuding video content and graphics, to improve the impact and user experience of online communications. Monitor online and social media forums to identify and respond to risks to the company s reputation. Oversee the design, development and content of the company s intranet site. Keep up to date with the latest technology and digital marketing trends, making sure the company stays ahead of the game in digital marketing.
2 Knowledge Skills and Experience Required Excellent digital project experience and well versed in the use of content management systems (we use Umbraco, so ASP.NET development skills would be advantageous). A working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript frameworks such as jquery and version control systems. A thorough knowledge of current and emerging social media trends, with proven experience of creating engaging content through different platforms and tracking engagement. Experience using Google Analytics beyond the basis of simply reporting site visits. A thorough understanding of SEO, PPC (Google Adwords), marketing and campaign tracking to drive conversions. Up-to-date understanding of usability, accessibility and general web standards. The ability to write clear, literate and concise digital content. Excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, word processing, Powerpoint, internet and . Perform deep and thorough analysis of complex data and translate this into easily digestable and appropriate conclusions to present to stakeholders across the business. Creativity and Innovation Production of engaging and user-friendly reports & analytical data showing digital performance for different audiences. Ability to devise effective ways to encourage customer involvement and feedback through websites. Actively going out and seeking new technologies with the purpose of testing them and seeing how these can be used to improve our digital services, deliver successful projects and campaigns. Develop a Digital Marketing Planning Strategy which supports the overall Digital Strategy and considers capabilities such as strategic approach, performance improvement process, management buy-in, resourcing and structure, data and infrastructure, integrated customer communication and customer experience. Offers workshops and cascade training for department colleagues to ensure that they properly understand the concepts and activities underlying digital marketing. Decision Making - Discretion

Ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders. Confidence to train and advise colleagues in the use of digital communications. Confidence in representing the company at external meetings. You will come into contact with other agencies supporting the digital agenda, including other training and marketing suppliers, public and private sector agencies. You will have contact with other departments within the organisation in particular PR & Communications, ICT and Resident Involvement Responsibility for Resources You will have access to social media platforms that allow public broadcasting and which could contain personal and sensitive data which must therefore remain confidential and protected. Physical Demands Normal physical demands associated with an office environment Working Conditions The post will be office based but also requires the ability to travel to other company locations. You may be required to occasionally attend digital events, meetings or conferences relevant to the post which may be situated outside of North Lincolnshire.
