4 1 Installatin The installatin f the Temand Extensin is quite easy and nly requires a few steps t cmplete. 1) Dwnlad the Temand Extensin frm 2) Unzip the flder int yur Magent rt flder 3) Clear Magent s cache & yur brwser cache 4) If yu were lgged int Magent, please lgut befre cntinuing Yu can nw lg back int yur Magent interface and the new Temand cnfiguratin settings will be available t yu. 5 3 Cnfiguring Temand T access the Temand Settings click n the System -> Cnfiguratin. On the left side f this area yu will ntice a list f ptins. 6 3.1 Temand Settings General Sandbx: There are tw ptins available; Yes: The stre will be in a testing mde nly. N charges are made and bks are nt actually prcessed. Use this status fr testing purpses. N: The stre will be live and all bkings will be accepted and charged. Lgin ID and Passwrd: Fr Sanbx settings please use the fllwing details: Username: temandtest Passwrd: passwrd Fr live settings, use yur existing Temand accunt. If yu d nt yet have a Temand accunt yet, yu can instantly sign up by clicking n the Sign Up link just abve the Sandbx ptin r by navigating t Temand Sign Up. 7 Nte: If yu are nt using the in-built sign up functin but already have a Temand accunt, please supprt@temand.cm with yur username and request API access t be enabled. Payment Type: There are tw ptins available; Credit: is an accunt balance yu have prepaid with Temand s credit ptin Accunt: yu may request n accunt billing frm Temand Nte: If yu chse the ptin f Credit yu must lgin t and add credit t yur accunt. If yu chse the ptin f Accunt yu must ensure that Temand has apprved and added sufficient accunt limit befre making bkings Optins Shw Carrier Names: There are tw ptins available; Yes: The available carrier names will be displayed t the custmer and will allw the custmer t chse which carrier they prefer t use fr shipping. N: The available carrier names will nt be displayed and the varius qutes appear as shipping ptins withut carrier names. Label Type: There are tw ptins available; Plain Paper: This is fr printers that supprt plain paper labels Thermal: This is fr printers that supprt thermal labels Insurance Insurance: There are three ptins available; Disabled: Insurance will nt be prvided and the custmer will nt have the ptin t add Insurance t the rder. Althugh the custmer des nt have the ptin t add insurance, as the seller yu may still prvide insurance. Befre this can be dne, yu must check the bx and cnfirm the Terms and Cnditins utlined. Optinal: If the custmer wuld prefer t have Insurance n the rder, they may d s at an extra cst. A checkbx will be presented t the custmer asking if they wuld like t include Insurance. It is pre-checked by default. 8 Imprtant!!! Depending n the ptin yu chse, yu will be presented with a cnfirmatin bx. Befre insurance can be added t any rder, yu must check the bx and cnfirm the Terms and Cnditins utlined Carbn Offset Carbn Offset: Offset yur carbn emissins thrugh Climate Friendly t help save the envirnment. There are three ptins available: Disabled: Carbn Offset will nt be prvided and the custmer will nt have the ptin t add it t the rder. Optinal: If the custmer wuld prefer t have carbn ffset n the rder, they may d s at an extra cst. A checkbx will be presented t the custmer asking if they wuld like t include carbn ffset. It is pre-checked by default. Mandatry: Carbn Offset will be included in all qutes and the custmer must purchase carbn ffset with the chsen shipping ptin Pricing Errr frm Temand prcessing: There are tw ptins available; If Shw errr message is set then the actual errr message will be displayed t the custmer explaining why they receive an errr. This feature helps businesses with bulky gds and varying shipping csts t ensure the crrect shipping cst is charged. If Shw flat rate is set then the actual errr message will be hidden and the custmer may prceed t checkut with the defined flat rate. This feature is useful fr retailers with similar sized prducts and average shipping rates as every rder will cme thrugh withut any errrs. Pricing Methd: There are 3 ptins available: Free Shipping: Custmers will receive free shipping n their rder. Fixed Price / Flat Rate: During the checkut prcess the custmer will be presented with a pre-defined shipping rate. Hwever, during the rder review prcess as the seller yu will still have the ptin f bking the cheapest carrier and qutes. Dynamic Pricing (All): With Dynamic Pricing the Shipping Qutes will be displayed t the custmer. 9 (Fastest Only): Only the fastest carrier qutes will be displayed. (Cheapest and Fastest Only): Bth cheapest and faster carrier qutes will be displayed. Shipping Price: The default shipping price used fr fixed price and flat rate. Handling Fee / Markup: Yu may chse t add an additinal fee t help ffset yur csts. The handling fee can be either a percent r a fixed amunt. The fee will be added t the ttal shipping cst. Handling Fee Calculatin: There are tw ptins available; Percent r Fixed. Chse the ptin which best fits yur requirements. This ptin is als assciated with the abve Handling Fee / Markup field Units Units: Based n yur lcal measuring unit yu may wish t change this setting. Measure Unit Weight Unit Default Values Default Values: This is the default dimensins and packaging infrmatin that will be used by all prducts unless a prduct has a specific dimensin defined. Packaging Fragile Length Width Height Stck Origin (Warehuse) Details Enter the rigin f yur stck / warehuse as specified fr yur user accunt at temand.cm. 10 3.2 Shipping Methds Temand Allwed Carriers: This is a list f shipping prviders which are available t ship yur prducts t yur custmers. Yu can many as many selectins as yu need by clicking n the name f the carrier. Yu can make multiple selectins by hlding the CTRL key n yur keybard and clicking each carrier name. Recmmended Carriers Australian Air Express Hunter Express Allied Express Fastway Curiers Bluestar Lgistics Capital Transprt DHL Capital Transprt Australia Pst eparcel Enabled: This ptin enables / disables the Temand Extensin. 11 Title: This is the title that will be used during checkut fr shipping methds. Ship t Applicable Cuntries: Based n yur business mdel yu may nly want t ship t specific cuntries. Yu can als select multiple cuntries by hlding the CTRL key n yur keybard. At this time nly Australia is available. Shw methd if nt applicable: By chsing N the Temand shipping qutes will nt be shwn if the destinatin cuntry is nt Australia. Displayed Errr Message: This is the errr that will be displayed if a shipping methd is nt available. 4 Managing Orders Once a custmer has placed an rder n yur website, the rder details can be reviewed by clicking n Temand -> Manage Shipments. 4.1 Order Review Once yu have received an rder it is recmmended that yu review the fllwing rder details: Pick-up Date: ASAP: This ptin bks the shipping fr the first available date. Select Date: This ptin allws the user t specify a pick up date. Destinatin: This is the custmer cntact infrmatin. Yu are als able t ship t PO BOX addresses. Insurance: If the custmer selected they wuld like insurance n their purchase the details will be shwn here. Items Ordered: This is a cmplete list f items the custmer has chsen t purchase. 12 Yu d have the ptin t mdify the bxes t be shipped. By default each item is packaged in a separate package. Yu culd create a larger bx and have all items shipped in a single bx. Imprtant!!! If yu have made any changes t the Bxes t Ship sectin, make sure yu Save and get Qutes befre cntinuing. Available Qutes: Yu can verride the selected carrier desired by the custmer. T cmplete the rder, select a carrier and chse Make Bking. 13 5 Manifest Manifest allws yu t gather all shipments fr a particular date n ne cnsignment nte. T enable the manifest functinality, yu must supprt@temand.cm. 15 6 Stre Frnt 6.1 Estimate Shipping n Prduct Detail Page While viewing any item there is an ptin t individually estimate the shipping csts fr the particular item yu are viewing. Yu can either enter a valid pstal cde r a general suburb yu are having the item shipped t. 6.2 Estimate Shipping fr Cart & Checkut During the checkut prcess yu can enter either a valid pstal cde r general suburb where the items in yur shpping cart will be shipped t. Yu will then be able t chse yur desired shipping methd. While the custmer is brwsing the site the pstal cde des nt have t be re-entered fr each prduct / cart page lad. 6.3 Insurance Optins The nly time when Insurance will nt be presented t the custmer is if the Insurance ptin has been disabled by the seller Mandatry Insurance When Insurance is mandatry the checkbx will be presented but will als be unable t be changed. The custmer must purchase insurance n this rder Optinal Insurance When Insurance is ptinal the checkbx will be presented and is autmatically checked. 17 6.4 Carbn Offset Optins The nly time when Carbn Offset will nt be presented t the custmer is if the Carbn Offset ptin has been disabled by the seller Mandatry Carbn Offset When Carbn Offset is mandatry the checkbx will be presented but will als be unable t be changed. The custmer must purchase this feature n this rder Optinal Carbn Offset When Carbn Offset is ptinal the checkbx will be presented and is autmatically checked. 18 7 Ntificatin When a custmer cmpletes their rder nline they will receive an receipt fr their purchase.
