1 INSTALLING AND CONFIGURING THE EUROPABANK MPI-PLUGIN FOR VIRTUEMART 2 Manual fr the Eurpabank MPI payment mdule fr Jmla and VirtueMart 2. Cpyright 2012 eurpabank.be ABOUT This plug-in was develped fr VirtueMart 2.X and is als cmpatible with VirtueMart 3.X. It is nt cmpatible with earlier versins f VirtueMart. Fr versin 1.1.X we ffer a different mdule available at the same place where yu dwnladed this mdule. This mdule includes English, Dutch and French translatins fr bth frnt-end and back-end. 2 INSTALLATION 1. Lg in t yur Jmla administratin page and g t Extensins > Extensin Manager. 2. On the Install tab f the Extensin Manager, click the Brwse buttn under Uplad Package File and select the file plg_vmpayment_eurpabank_mpi.zip that yu dwnladed. 3. Click the Uplad & Install buttn next. After a few secnds yu shuld see a message indicating that the plug-in was installed successfully. 4. Still in the Extensin Manager, g t the Manage tab and search the list fr a VM - Payment, Eurpabank MPI. Eurpabank NV Burgstraat Gent BTW BE RPR Gent 2

3 5. Click the checkbx n that line, and then click the Enable buttn at the tp f the page t activate the plug-in. Alternatively yu can click the red circle in the Status clumn f that line. The red circle in the status clumn shuld nw have changed t a green tick indicating that the plug-in is enabled. THE MODULE IS NOW INSTALLED, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE CONFIGURED BEFORE IT CAN BE USED. 4 CONFIGURATION 1. G t the VirtueMart Cntrl Panel ( Cmpnents > VirtueMart ). Navigate t Shp > Payment methds. 2. Click the New buttn and fill ut the frm as shwn belw. Yu are free t chse yur wn Payment Name and Payment Descriptin. Make sure Published is set t Yes and Payment Methd t VM- Payment, Eurpabank MPI. 3. Click the Save buttn. 5 4. Next, g t the Cnfiguratin tab. 5. Cmplete the fields Uid and Server secret with the UID and server secret f yur MPI accunt. These fields are case sensitive. If yu dn t have a MPI accunt yet, yu can click the Register fr a free test accunt -link t create ne. 6. Indicate whether yu are using a test- r a live accunt. 7. 6 ADDITIONAL SETTINGS EXPLAINED Accunt: Here yu enter the basic infrmatin f yur MPI accunt. If yu dn t have a MPI accunt yet, yu can click the link next t Accunt type t register a free test accunt. MPI url: The type f MPI accunt yu want t use. Uid: The UID f yur MPI accunt. Server secret: The server secret f yur MPI accunt. Brands: Here yu can custmize the card brands. Brands: The default card brand fr yur custmers. This will als prevent yur custmers frm chsing a different brand. Lg s: The lg(s) t be displayed next t the payment methd n the checkut page. By default we supply the Maestr, MasterCard, Visa and ideal lgs, hwever yu can use yur wn lgs if want. 7 Feedback type: The type f feedback yu want t use. Yu can chse between: Online (feedback is started at the end f the payment prcess. The custmer will be redirected after the feedback prcess is cmpleted), Offline (the custmer is redirected befre the feedback prcess is started), Semi-Online (first an nline feedback attempt is started. If this fails, ffline feedback is started) and N feedback. When chsing N feedback the status f an rder will nt be updated autmatically. We recmmend using Online r Semi-nline feedback. Payment successful status: The status f an rder after feedback, when the payment was successful. Payment unsuccessful status: The status f an rder after feedback, when the payment was nt successful. feedback: Send an cntaining the feedback parameters t the shp wner? Redirect type: The type f redirect yu want t use. Yu can chse between: Direct (the custmer is autmatically redirected back t the shp at the end f the payment prcess), Indirect (at the end f the payment prcess a message will be shwn t the custmer, he will be redirected back t the shp when he clicks a buttn) and N redirect. When chsing N redirect the custmer will nt be redirected back t the shp, the rdered items will remain in his shpping cart as a result. We recmmend using Direct redirect. Parameters: Any extra parameters yu wish t pass alng t the feedback and/r redirect page(s). These parameters need t be entered in html-get query string ntatin (ex. &param1=value1&param2=value2). Layut: Here yu can custmise the lk f the payment page. Title: A title fr the payment page. This setting has n effect when using a template. Template: The URL t a template fr the payment page. We will search this template fr the text {!-- NEWTEMPLATE --} and we will replace this text with ur payment frm. If there are images in the template that refer t a nn-secure lcatin (nt https) we recmmend using ur prxy server fr thse URLs (see the MPI technical manual fr mre infrmatin abut using ur prxy server). CSS: The URL t a CSS file that must be applied t the payment page.
