Intrductin t i4g i4g was designed t secure cardhlder data (CHD) in e-cmmerce business envirnments with Internet brwser-based applicatins that integrate nline (website) and nsite (kisk, Sftware as a Service) technlgies. i4g accmplishes this by intercepting CHD at the pint f entry befre it ever enters the merchant s Web server r hsting prvider s system. i4g wrks with Shift4 s PA-DSS validated Universal Transactin Gateway (UTG) r API Web service and PCI DSS-cmpliant DOLLARS ON THE NET payment gateway t replace the CHD with a TrueTken, a unique ID t reference the actual data. This will drastically reduce e-cmmerce merchants PCI DSS scpe and may qualify them t use the SAQ-A (EP). Intrductin t the Universal Transactin Gateway (UTG ) The UTG encrypts and securely transmits transactin data frm an interfaced merchant s e-cmmerce shpping cart directly t DOLLARS ON THE NET using Shift4 s prprietary Derived Unique Key Per Transactin with Mving Target Encryptin (DUKPT w/mte). The UTG is a small applicatin that is installed n the merchant s cmputer netwrk that facilitates cnnectivity t Shift4 s data centers. It is prprietary Virtual Private Netwrk (VPN) sftware that prtects the transprt f sensitive financial data frm interfaced systems t the DOLLARS ON THE NET system. Implementatin Steps The basic steps fr implementing Shift4 with Magent include the fllwing: Using Magent Cnnect Manager t install the Shift4 Payment methd Cnfiguring the Shift4 Payment methd Testing yur cnfiguratin Dwnlading the S4PM_Magent File Package T dwnlad and extract the S4PM_Magent tgz file package, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Dwnlad and save the file. 2. Create a backup f the Magent files. We suggest creating a backup f the entire Magent flder by ding a full cpy and paste t a different flder lcatin and name (e.g., C:\Magent Backup). WARNING! Make sure a backup f the Magent files has been created befre yu prceed. The installatin f the S4PM_Magent payment methd will add files t the existing Magent files. 5 Using Shift4 with Magent Installing the Shift4 Payment Methd Using Magent Cnnect Nte: This dcument assumes yu have a wrking knwledge f Magent. T install the Shift4 Payment methd using Magent Cnnect Manager, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Lg in t Magent as the administratr. 2. Frm the Magent Admin Panel menu, select System > Magent Cnnect > Magent Cnnect Manager. 3. On the Magentcnnect MANAGER Lg In screen, cmplete the fllwing steps: In the Username field, enter yur username. In the Passwrd field, enter yur Passwrd Shift4 Crpratin. All rights reserved. 6 Using Shift4 with Magent Click Lg In. 4. Click the Settings tab, and then cmplete the fllwing steps: In the Magent Cnnect Channel Prtcl list, select Https. In the Preferred State list, select Stable. In the Use custm permissins list, select N. In the Deplyment Type area, select Lcal Filesystem. Click Save Settings. 5. Click the Extensins tab, and then cmplete the fllwing steps: In the Channel: Magent Cmmunity Editin sectin, review the list f methds already installed and cmplete the fllwing steps: (If applicable) If S4PM_Magent is nt listed, prceed t step 6. 7 Using Shift4 with Magent In the Settings sectin, select Put stre n the maintenance mde while installing/upgrading/backup creatin. This is nly necessary during installatin because f the large number f custm attributes. Nte: In maintenance mde, the stre website and admin panel will be inaccessible and will shw a 503 errr page. In the Settings sectin, select Create Backup t create a database backup befre installing the Shift4 Payment methd. This is simply a precautinary measure. The backup time will depend n the size f yur database. In the Backup Name field, enter a name t identify the backup. Tip: When yu have finished installing the Shift4 Payment methd, yu may view the backup file by returning t the Magent Admin Panel menu and selecting System > Tls > Backups Shift4 Crpratin. 8 Using Shift4 with Magent 6. T uplad the Shift4 Payment methd, cmplete the fllwing steps: In the Direct package file uplad sectin, click Chse File. Lcate the S4PM_Magent tgz file yu dwnladed and saved earlier, and then click Open. Click Uplad t install S4PM_Magent. 7. If the uplad was successful, the fllwing screen shuld appear. 9 Using Shift4 with Magent Cnfiguring the Shift4 Payment Methd T cnfigure the Shift4 Payment methd, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Lg in t Magent as the administratr. 2. Frm the Magent Admin Panel menu, select System > Cnfiguratin. 3. Frm the Cnfiguratin menu n the left side f the page, scrll dwn t the SALES sectin and select Payment Methds. 4. In the Merchant Lcatin sectin, select the desired ptin in the Merchant Cuntry list. Tip: Fr infrmatin abut each field, click under any field Shift4 Crpratin. All rights reserved. 10 Using Shift4 with Magent 5. Scrll dwn t the Shift4 Secure Payments sectin and click t display the settings. 6. In the Credit, Debit, r Gift Card (Shift4) sectin, cmplete the fllwing steps: In the Enabled list, select Yes. In the Title field, enter a new title r leave the default. (If Yes is selected in the Enabled field, the text in the Title field will be displayed t yur custmers t dente the payment ptin.) In the Prcessing Mde list, select the desired ptin: Fr testing, select Dem. Nte: If yu select Dem and want t simulate an apprved transactin, enter the fllwing: Test Card Number: Expiratin: any future date CVV: 333 Amunt: $100 r less If yu want t simulate a decline, use the same infrmatin abve, but with an amunt larger than $1,000. If yu are ready t prcess real transactins, select Live. Nte: If yu select Live, all fields n this page must be cnfigured in rder t prcess real transactins, which will be available in DOLLARS ON THE NET. In the Server Addresses field, cmplete ne f the fllwing steps: If yu are using a UTG, enter the list f UTG IP addresses and prt numbers, separated by cmmas. If yu are nt using a UTG, leave the pre-ppulated address. The default address is https//dtn.shift4api.cm. Requirement: Setting up a UTG fr Magent will require an HTTP SSL Interface Shift4 Crpratin. 11 Using Shift4 with Magent Imprtant: The UTG prvides features like Offline mde. Offline mde prvides additinal functinality and security when the UTG cannt cnnect t the Shift4 data center. In Offline mde, the UTG clsely mimics Online mde by generating a TrueTken n all authrizatin and sale requests. Fr additinal infrmatin n Offline mde and ther UTG features, see the UTG Quick Installatin Guide lcated in DOLLARS ON THE NET Help and MyPrtal Dcumentatin Crner. In the Auth Tken field, paste r enter the Auth Tken generated in DOLLARS ON THE NET and click Exchange. This will exchange the Auth Tken fr an Access Tken, which will be displayed masked and allw yu t prcess transactins thrugh DOLLARS ON THE NET. Nte: Fr additinal infrmatin n generating an Auth Tken, see the Accunt Administratr Guide lcated in DOLLARS ON THE NET Help. In the Enable Lgging list, select the desired ptin: If yu d nt want t lg any cmmunicatins with DOLLARS ON THE NET, select Off. If yu want t lg nly the prblem cmmunicatins with DOLLARS ON THE NET, select Lg Prblems Only. If yu want t lg all cmmunicatins with DOLLARS ON THE NET, select Lg All Cmmunicatins. Nte: Lg files are generally lcated within yur rt Magent installatin in {{base_dir}}/var/lg. It is recmmended that yu select Lg All Cmmunicatins, as lgs are valuable in trubleshting prblems. Requirement: Lgging must be enabled n the Develper page fr the selected ptin t take effect. Hwever, this des nt apply if Off is selected. In the Allw Partial Authrizatin list, select the desired ptin: If yu wuld like t allw a partial authrizatin n a payment card, select Yes. This will autmatically prmpt fr a different, additinal payment card when an apprval fr a lesser amunt is btained n the submitted payment card Shift4 Crpratin. All rights reserved. 12 Using Shift4 with Magent If yu d nt want t allw a partial authrizatin n a payment card, select N. If N is selected, an authrizatin fr a lesser amunt will be vided and a new payment card will be required. Imprtant: Partial authrizatin as described abve is nly available when shipping t a single address. Als, while Shift4 s payment methd supprts partial authrizatins, sme third-party ne-page checkut extensins d nt. If yu are using this type f extensin and supprt fr partial authrizatins is desired, yu will need t verify it wrks with the Shift4 payment methd. In the Transactin Mde list, select the desired ptin: If yu want t authrize and finalize transactins at the same time, select Immediate Charge. If yu want t authrize transactins and manually finalize the transactins at a later time, select Bk and Ship. In the Enfrce Address Validatin list, select the desired ptin: If yu want t enfrce address validatin fr transactins, select Yes. If yu d nt want t enfrce address validatin fr transactins, select N. Nte: Address validatin is preferred, as it generally prvides a better discunt rate. 7. In the My Saved Cards (Shift4) sectin, cmplete the fllwing steps: In the Enable Card n File list, select the desired ptin: If yu wuld like yur custmers t be able t select their saved cardhlder data during checkut, select Yes. If yu prefer yur custmers reenter their cardhlder data during checkut, select N. Nte: All cardhlder data is tkenized s n real cardhlder data is stred in yur system. In the Title field, enter a new title r leave the default. 13 Using Shift4 with Magent 8. When yu have cmpleted making yur selectins, click Save Cnfig. Tip: T restre the Server Addresses field t the default state, click Reset. T replace yur current Access Tken, click New Tken and fllw the tken exchange instructins under step 6. 14 Using Shift4 with Magent Viewing Shift4 Invice Numbers T view Shift4 invice numbers, cmplete the fllwing steps: 1. Lg in t Magent as the administratr. 2. Frm the Magent Admin Panel menu, select Sales > Invices. 3. The Invices page will be displayed. Tip: The Invices page displays the Shift4 Invice ID number. This invice number is the same as the invice number in DOLLARS ON THE NET and can be used t lk up transactins. Generating a Custm Sales Order Reprt The Shift4 Payment methd prvides a number f reprting ptins that can be useful fr cmparing yur end-f-day ttals with DOLLARS ON THE NET. On the Custm Sales Order Reprt page, cmplete the fllwing steps: In the Filter By list, select the desired ptin: Order Date Shipping Date In the Frm field, enter a date in mm/dd/yy frmat, r click t display a calendar and select a date. In the T field, enter a date in mm/dd/yy frmat, r click t display a calendar and select a date. In the Order Status list, select the desired ptin: If yu want yur reprt t cntain transactins regardless f status, select Any. If yu want yur reprt t nly cntain a specific transactin status, select Specified and then select the type f transactin t be included in the reprt. Frm the Magent Admin Panel menu, select System > Magent Cnnect > Magent Cnnect Manager. 3. Enter yur username and passwrd, and then click Lg In. 4. On the Extensins tab, lcate S4PM_Magent. 5. Frm the Actins list n the S4PM_Magent rw, select Uninstall. 6. Click Cmmit Changes. 7. If the uninstall was successful, the fllwing screen shuld appear.
