5 NetSuite T Salesfrce Custmers StarterPak StarterPak Cntents The StarterPak includes: NS-SF Custmers.xml - An XML file cntaining the Scribe Online maps that define the mappings between NetSuite and Salesfrce fr Custmers: NS -> SF: Custmer Upsert (Stage Custmer) NS -> SF: Custmer Upsert (Stage Prspect) NS -> SF: Update Parent Accunt (Stage Custmer) NS -> SF: Update Parent Accunt (Stage Prspect) SalesfrceUnmangedPackageLinkAccunt.txt A link t an unmanaged package that creates the ScribeExternalId field n the Accunt entity in Salesfrce. A Salesfrce user with apprpriate credentials and permissins t: Imprt unmanaged packages Edit page layuts Create and update the entities int which the StarterPak integrates Access t a NetSuite Organizatin. A NetSuite user with apprpriate credentials and permissins t query the entities the StarterPak uses. A Scribe Online Clud r On-Premise Agent. The StarterPak uses CSV files that require an On-Premise Agent. If yu plan t use a Clud Agent, yu must cnvert the CSV files t Lk Up Tables and mdify the frmulas within the maps accrdingly. 6 Preparing The StarterPak Preparing The StarterPak This sectin describes the steps required t prepare NetSuite and Salesfrce, extract files frm the.zip file, and cnfigure the Scribe Online cnnectins. Fr infrmatin n Scribe Online tasks, such as cnfiguring surce and target cnnectins and using Scribe Online, see the Scribe Online Help Center. Extract The Files Frm The Zip File 1. Dwnlad the ScribeStarterPak-NetSuite-t-Salesfrce-Custmers_v1_ 0.zip file. 2. Extract the files t a lcatin that can be accessed by Scribe Online. 3. D ne f the fllwing: Click Install Salesfrce Package t start the Salesfrce Package Installatin. Open the SalesfrceUnmanagedPackageLinkAccunt.txt file that yu just extracted, cpy the link in the text file t yur brwser, and pen the link. 4. Fllw the prmpts t install the package. 5. Cpy the NS-SF Custmers.xml file t a flder under yur Scribe Online installatin, such as..\scribe Sftware\Scribe Online Agent\Maps\. 7 Cnfiguring The Scribe Online Cnnectins Cnfiguring The Scribe Online Cnnectins Because yu must assign yur glbal cnnectins t each map, Scribe recmmends creating them frm the Cnnectins page. Fr infrmatin, see Adding Cnnectins. Cnfigure The Salesfrce Cnnectin Cnfigure the Salesfrce Cnnectin, as described in Scribe Online Cnnectr Fr Salesfrce. Verify that yu have the credentials and permissins t create and update Accunts. If yu are using an existing Salesfrce Cnnectin, be sure t refresh the metadata as described in Managing Cnnectins. Cnfigure The NetSuite Cnnectin Cnfigure the NetSuite Cnnectin as described in Scribe Online Cnnectr Fr NetSuite. Verify that yu have the credentials and permissins t query Custmer and Custmer Address. 8 Cnfiguring The Scribe Online Slutins Cnfiguring The Scribe Online Slutins After yu create Scribe Online Cnnectins, cnfigure the Slutin. Create A Slutin 1. Cnfigure Step 1 and Step 2 f the Slutin. See Managing Slutins. 2. On Step 3, Defining a Map, click Imprt, brwse t the NS SF Custmers.xml file, and imprt that file. The maps shw as Incmplete. 3. Open each map and cnfigure the surce and target cnnectins. Yu must mdify the maps fr yur NetSuite Organizatin, yur Salesfrce Organizatin, and yur business requirements. 9 StarterPak Maps StarterPak Maps This sectin prvides details abut the Custmer and Parent Accunts maps included in this StarterPak. General Infrmatin The maps yu implement depend n yur business requirements. Fr example, if yu nly want t integrate Custmers in the Prspect stage in NetSuite t Salesfrce Accunts, yu wuld nly implement the NS->SF: Custmer Upsert (Stage Prspect) map. If yur rganizatin des nt use Parent Accunts in NetSuite, yu wuld nt need t implement either f the NS ->SF: Update Parent Accunt maps. The maps in this StarterPak prcess all recrds created r updated since the last run/date time by default. The last run/date time is based n the NetSuite lastmdifieddate field. Fr mre infrmatin n the specific field mappings, review the maps in Scribe Online. Custmer Accunts The StarterPak prvides the fllwing Custmer Accunt maps: NS->SF: Custmer Upsert (Stage Custmer) Retrieves all active Custmers with a stage f Custmer frm NetSuite, including all related Custmer Address recrds. Creates Accunts in Salesfrce, including Billing and Shipping Addresses, if applicable. NS->SF: Custmer Upsert (Stage Prspect) Retrieves all active Custmers with a stage f Prspect frm NetSuite, including all related Custmer Address recrds. Creates Accunts in Salesfrce, including Billing and Shipping Addresses, if applicable. Custmer Stages NetSuite supprts Custmers in multiple stages. The StarterPak prvides maps fr the Prspect and Custmer stages. T integrate an additinal stage, such as the Lead stage, duplicate ne f the prvided maps and mdify as needed. Custmer As Individual NetSuite allws yu t specify whether a Custmer is a Cmpany r an Individual. 10 StarterPak Maps Default Billing And Shipping Addresses The default billing and default shipping address fr the Custmer in NetSuite are used t ppulate the billing address and shipping address in Salesfrce. Mdificatins t the default Billing Address r Shipping Address in NetSuite are reflected in the Billing Address r Shipping Address in Salesfrce. Changing the default Billing Address r Shipping Address in NetSuite als changes the Billing Address r Shipping Address in Salesfrce. State And Cuntry Values NetSuite Cuntry values differ frm Salesfrce Cuntry Cdes. Fr example, the NetSuite Cuntry value is _unitedstates, while the Salesfrce Cuntry Cde is US. The Cuntry.csv file prvides a list f NetSuite cuntry values and crrespnding Salesfrce Cuntry Cdes. The State values in NetSuite and Salesfrce may differ and require transfrmatin. Fr example, by default, the States fr United States, Australia, and Canada match and require n transfrmatin. Hwever, the values fr Mexic differ and d require transfrmatin. Use the MX.csv file, which prvides NetSuite State values and crrespnding Salesfrce values, as an example fr ther cuntries that require transfrmatins. Parent Accunts The StarterPak prvides the fllwing Parent Accunt maps: NS->SF: Update Parent Accunt (Stage Custmer) Retrieves all active Custmers with a stage f Custmer frm NetSuite. Updates the crrespnding Salesfrce Accunts with the Parent Accunt, if applicable. NS->SF: Update Parent Accunt (Stage Prspect) Retrieves all active Custmers with a stage f Prspect frm NetSuite. Updates the crrespnding Salesfrce Accunts with the Parent Accunt, if applicable Updating Parent Accunts If yur Organizatin uses parent/child relatinships fr Custmers, update the parent in Salesfrce frm the parent in NetSuite with the maps prvided. 11 StarterPak Maps N Parent Defined The maps return all NetSuite Custmers created r updated since the last run date/time, and filter ut any with n parent defined. If n Custmers have a parent and n actin was perfrmed, the last mdified date is nt updated. This StarterPak uses a Lkup NS Custmer blck t lk up the surce Custmer frm NetSuite, frcing an actin t be perfrmed, and causing the last mdified date t be updated.
