The Dashbard was released int Prductin in May 2015, with new features being added r updated peridically. Cgns reprting frm Ellucian Advance Will be integrated with ther GW ERP data, easy t use, visual, autmatically updated, secured, and certified New Features: The Gift Officer Dashbard is an interactive tl designed t prvide Gift Officers with an intuitive frmat t manage their prtfli f prspects. As a secndary purpse, this tl allws Gift Officer Managers t review the perfrmance f their team. It als allws Develpment and Alumni Relatins (DAR) team analysts and the Research and Relatinship Management (RRM) team t perfrm data analysis and identify the impact f slicitatin strategies. The dashbard presents data in the fllwing three cntexts: Prtfli Overview, Cntacts, and Prpsals. Prtfli Overview prvides a summary depictin f general prspect infrmatin, such as lcatin, rating level, and lifetime giving. The Cntacts cntext visualizes cntact reprts between a GW Gift Officer and a prspective dnr. Finally, the Prpsals cntext prvides a perfrmance analysis f prpsals fr gifts submitted t prspective dnrs. Data used fr the Gift Officer Dashbard is part f the Advancement Decisin Center. Over 300+ target users fr these dashbards include Develpment Officers, Alumni Relatins, Advancement Services and the DAR Executive Team. The reprt can be filtered n Psting Date, PICT Cde, Prject Number, Billing Grup, and Award Number. 9 First Destinatin Dashbard Prduct Visin Fr: GW Cmmunity and the General Public Wh: Are interested in the success rate f GW students in finding jbs after graduatin The: First Destinatin Dashbard Is an: Interactive and visualizatin tl That: Prvides the results f graduatin-related surveys taken by GW students Unlike: A static infgraphic n paper r PDF file This Prduct: Is interactive and can be accessed by anyne nline New Data Surce: Develped fr the GW Career Center and in partnership with the Survey and Research Analysis (SRA) Office, the First Destinatin Dashbard will prvide details abut pst-baccalaureate utcmes f GW students. It will include pst-graduatin activity including emplyment, graduate schl, vlunteer r ther activities. The data used fr the First Destinatin Dashbard cmes frm graduatin surveys and is integrated with student data frm the data warehuse. The dashbard is being develped by SRA using Tableau Desktp with data cming frm the data warehuse via Tableau Server. Once cmpleted, it will be made available thrugh Tableau Public. The target release date is March 2016.

10 Business Intelligence Services (BIS) Strategic Initiatives Infrmatica upgrade: The extract-transfrm-lad (ETL) tl that is used t build the data warehuse has been upgraded frm PwerCenter 8.6 t PwerCenter 9.6. This upgrade was necessary t enable the Business Intelligence team t cnnect t mre data surces, integrate data acrss different platfrms, and put GW in a psitin where it can gain insight frm the data cllected by its varius systems. Tableau Server upgrade: T avail f the latest features, Tableau Server has been upgraded frm versin 9.1 t 9.2. Desktp users with current licenses are advised t upgrade t versin 9.2 especially if the wrkbk will be published n the server. T find ut what s new in Tableau 9.2, please visit Tableau s website. The subscriptin feature in Tableau has been activated which allws users t subscribe t their favrite dashbards and have them delivered via at regular intervals. Users then have the ptin f clicking n the in rder t interact with the dashbard n Tableau Server. GW Husing: The BIS team wrked with GW Husing t create and publish their Residence Hall Husing Availability and Rates fr Fall 2016 and Spring The viz will be available t the public and is hsted by Tableau Public, a free service prvided by Tableau Sftware. Students and their parents will nw be able t lk fr the best pssible husing ptins based n their class, building lcatin, rm type and rate. The viz can be accessed thrugh the GW Living site:
