It has a global mmbrship of around 13,000 individuals who hav profssional training or xprinc in altrnativ disput rsolution (ADR). CIArb s qualifications in arbitration, mdiation and adjudication hav st an industry bnchmark for xcllnc in ADR. Th post holdr will dsign, dvlop, dlivr and manag all Arbitration Pathways moduls and ducation and training programms, pursuant to th Objct in its Royal Chartr, of providing ducation, training and profssional qualification in ADR. Th Arbitration Programm Ladr and SM will b rsponsibl for nsuring that th CIArb s rnownd global standards of knowldg and practic ar maintaind in all Arbitration Pathways moduls and ducation and training initiativs dlivrd. Rports To: Dirctor of Global ducation Job Purpos Th Programm Ladr and SM rol spans th full rang of dsign, dvlopmnt, dlivry and managmnt of th CIArb Arbitration Pathways and associatd ducation and training programms, including SM support for on-lin larning. Th succssful candidat will thrfor dmonstrat th ncssary skills, knowldg and xprinc to work on a wid varity of acadmic managmnt, taching, assssmnt, quality and studnt xprinc nhancmnt rlatd activitis. It is ssntial that th succssful candidat has significant xprinc of practising Intrnational Arbitration. Th primary purpos initially will b to nhanc th currnt Arbitration Pathways moduls by conducting modul acadmic rviws, scuring approval for proposd changs and nsuring implmntation of nhancd moduls. Th post holdr will also b rquird to tutor andor assss on th Arbitration Pathways moduls and othr Pathways and moduls as rquird during This job dscription is intndd as an outlin indicator of gnral aras of activity and will b amndd in light of th changing nds of th ducation and Training Dpartmnt of th CIArb. 2 Rsponsibilitis Th post holdr will b rsponsibl for: Conducting in-dpth acadmic rviws of th Arbitration Pathways moduls in ordr to idntify th changs rquird to nhanc ach modul to nsur: Currnt and appropriat taching and assssmnt mthodologis ar in plac; Complt alignmnt btwn larning outcoms, cor contnt and assssmnts; A consistnt studnt xprinc with no cor knowldg gaps vidnt within th curriculum. A modul rviw is currntly bing undrtakn and th launch of rfrshd moduls will b th priority focus for th Programm Ladr and SM upon appointmnt. This activity forms a ky lmnt of a major projct within ducation and Training. Th acadmic ladrship, managmnt and dlivry of th Arbitration Pathways moduls, including th maintnanc and nhancmnt of standards and will hav rsponsibility for th dsign, dvlopmnt and dlivry of th curriculum. Th day to day managmnt of th Pathways and associatd moduls, including all aras of larning, taching and assssmnt of studnts as wll as rsourcs allocatd.
