2 ADVERT TEXT Direct and Digital Campaign Manager Fixed Term 6 months Working as part of the Campaigns Team within Marketing, you will play a key role defining, managing, developing, executing and evaluating our digital and print marketing activity and projects. You will also be responsible for defining online and offline creative output and ensuring our brand guidelines are sustained across all channels within the relevant campaigns. Experience of digital marketing and print campaigns are essential. Preferably with a marketing related qualification or degree, you must have significant marketing experience which includes managing digital and print campaigns and projects. You will have the ability to liaise with people at all levels and will be comfortable in generating ideas and putting them into practice. As well as the above requirements, you should be a highly organised team player with a keen eye for detail and a genuine desire to deliver commercially effective results. Wine trade experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

3 THE WINE SOCIETY JOB DESCRIPTION Job title: Direct and Digital Campaign Manager Department: Marketing Reports to: Campaigns Team Manager Responsible for: N/A Job purpose: Manage multi-channel direct marketing offers and campaigns, taking responsibility for their results and working for their improvement and development to ensure they meet and exceed business targets. Develop The Society through ideas, experience and views when leading a number of multi-channel direct marketing projects. Guide the continued digitalisation of our campaigns in a way which advances the digital skills of the team. Responsible for defining creative output and ensuring our brand guidelines are sustained across all channels within the relevant campaigns. Work closely with the Buying, Supply and Merchandising teams, colleagues within the marketing teams and external agencies and suppliers along with other operational departments within The Wine Society. Main duties: Manage and lead multi-channel marketing offers and campaigns in order to achieve the communications programme targets on time and within budget. This will include working with the buying and merchandising teams; producing the campaign brief; digital and design briefs; liaise with design agencies and inhouse digital designer; work with the digital insight manager and marketing analysts; produce campaign reviews. Develop, improve and test the ways The Society executes the digital campaigns which complement the existing (print) campaigns or are standalone digital only campaigns. Develop and implement campaign strategies across online and offline marketing channels. Generate new ideas for promoting products and services to customers. Work with the PR Manager and Copy Team as necessary to integrate press reviews, social media and enhanced online content into campaigns.

4 Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and agencies, including liaison with external designers to ensure that offers are implemented accurately, according to brief, and within our brand guidelines. Analysis and evaluation of campaign results and implementation of plans to maximise success in each campaign Undertake and manage various one-off and ongoing marketing-led projects for the business Develop and refine campaigns and activities across digital media and print, applying best-practice methods wherever possible Ensure that The Wine Society s brand and tone is reflected in all customer communications. Commitment to develop and work within the objectives of the Campaigns team to achieve individual and team objectives. Administrative tasks including collating design amends and updating campaign reporting tool.
