8 Best Practices vs. Evidence-based Practices Evidence-based prgram: an interventin that has demnstrated a causal link between the prgram and the desired utcmes. Demnstrated thrugh rigrus scientific methdlgy (e.g. randmizatin, sufficient sample sizes, lw attritin, sustained effects, replicatins). Best practices is a brad term. Using an evidence-based prgram is best practices; nt all best practices are evidence-based prgrams. Only prgrams listed in Sectin I f the BPR have been fund t be evidence-based.
