MCInf is a natinal, Internet-based service that lets Insurance Cmpanies, Filing Agents and MGAs submit standard mtr carrier insurance filings t state agencies. MCInf is set up s that yur cmpany can d the fllwing: Setup up and manage MCInf as if it was yur wn system, including cntrlling users, and their passwrds It is like having yur wn in-huse system. Allws yur cmpany t submit filings electrnically t multiple state agencies with a single entry; and, fr states t prcess them n-line MCInf allws states t accept, reject r pend yur filings, and t add cmments. Immediately after the State takes actin n a filing, MCInf sends an t the user wh submitted the filing. It prvides a recrd f the actin taken, including cmments, date and time. MCInf maintains a transactin histry that yur staff can refer t in case f questins. Yu can quickly access any electrnic filing yu have submitted. The histry allws yu t run reprts n filings fr yur recrds, r t analyze filing trends, by filing cmpany, by user, r by filing status. Als, yur administratr fr MCInf can access reprts n-line, r dwnlad yur data fr any perid at any time. PDF versins f the filings are available fr paper prcessing r internal filing. Backgrund MCInf allws natin-wide access by insurance cmpanies and gvernment agencies t exchange insurance filing transactins and ther infrmatin n behalf f mtr carriers. Insurance cmpanies with MCinf submit insurance certificates fr mtr carrier cmpanies t participating States. State agencies can use the system t review, accept, and reject these certificates. Fr nn-participating states, MCInf generates cmpleted pdf frmat filings fr submissin by Insurers. Thus, Insurers can enter ne set f infrmatin, select the states t file t and MCInf generates all filings in a single prcess. Insurers pay a fee fr each autmated filing made. 3 System Highlights: MCInf lets yu directly manage yur persnalized instance f MCInf. Yu can set up filing cmpanies, manage users and prcess filings. MCInf acts as a cnduit t quickly and efficiently supprt the filing prcess t States and receive ntificatins frm them. The fllwing diagram shws hw MCInf wrks t enable this prcess: A persn in yur cmpany will act as Administratr. That persn will receive a unique administratin passwrd and ID. As the fllwing screen sht shws, the State Agency administratr has access t a few, easily used functins. These functins allw yu t set up, cnfigure and maintain yur instance f MCInf as yur wn. The Administratr is able t immediately dwnlad the mst current user manual. If there are questins, a call r t mcinfsupprt@nicusa.cm will prvide the answers yu need. MCInf is very user friendly and easy t wrk with. Mst administratrs take ten t fifteen minutes t master MCInf. The primary Administratr functins are:

4 Maintain infrmatin abut yur cmpany; Set up and maintain filing cmpanies; Set up, edit r inactivate/reactivate users and their passwrds; Assign users t file fr filing cmpanies; and Run reprts n filings. As mentined abve, the Administratr can dwnlad a detailed Administratrs Manual as well. When the administratr sets up each new User t receive and prcess filings, MCInf will autmatically generate a user ID and an initial passwrd fr that persn. This is autmatically sent t the entered user s address. When they use the ID/Passwrd t lg in they will have access t the functins needed t quickly and effectively enter and submit filings as shwn in the fllwing screen sht:
