THE REACHING OUT MBA CONFERENCE is the premier venue for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) graduate business school students seeking to network and support LGBT equality in the business world. EVENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES UNDERWRITER $40,000 The most prominent sponsorship available, the Underwriter s logo will be exclusively displayed through social media networks. In addition, the Underwriter will receive a full-page advertisement in the Welcome Booklet and will be prominently displayed on its cover. The sponsor will have the opportunity to make brief introductory remarks at the Friday Networking Lunch. SATURDAY EVENING CHARITY FUNDRAISING EVENT $30,000 This popular annual event which sold out in 2012 raises money for the sponsor s charity of choice. The company s logo will be prominently displayed at the function. Sponsor is responsible for expenses associated with hosting the event. Sponsors must provide all desired AV equipment, banners, display materials and collateral. FRIDAY DINNER $25,000 The Friday dinner is the most popular and well-attended event at the conference. The sponsor will have the opportunity to make brief introductory remarks at the event and the company s logo will be prominently displayed in the dining area. SATURDAY LUNCH $20,000 The Saturday lunch provides a captive audience of nearly all conference attendees. The sponsor will have the opportunity to make brief introductory remarks at the event and the company s logo will be displayed prominently in the dining area. REGISTRATION SPONSOR $17,500 The registration area is where attendees get their first impression of the conference. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed in the registration area. 8

FRIDAY BREAKFAST $17,500 This is the first breakfast of the conference and the start of an eventful day. The sponsor will have the opportunity to make brief opening remarks during the breakfast and the company s logo will be displayed prominently in the dining area. THURSDAY WELCOME RECEPTION SPONSOR $15,000 This is the first event of the conference and is planned to be hosted on a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the Mississippi River. The sponsoring company will have the advantage of making a strong first impression and its logo will be prominently displayed in the reception area. FRIDAY EVENING NETWORKING RECEPTION $15,000 The Friday networking reception takes place prior to dinner and provides an 90-minute opportunity for attendees to mix and mingle. FRIDAY EVENING SOCIAL EVENT $15,000 Conference attendees will be invited to enjoy a cruise on the Mississippi River aboard a classic New Orleans Riverboat featuring a live jazz band. SATURDAY STUDENT SERVICE PROJECT SPONSOR $15,000 This sponsor will have the opportunity to support a conference-wide community service project. SATURDAY CLOSING RECEPTION $15,000 After two days of conference events, this reception provides sponsors with the opportunity to connect with attendees in one of the final events. DIVERSITY NETWORKING RECEPTION $12,500 This event gives sponsors the opportunity to speak to a group of women and minority LGBT students. THURSDAY EVENING NETWORKING WORKSHOP & SPEED NETWORKING $12,500 A professional organizational consultant will teach attendees how to create an effective network and build a rich web of relationships that go far beyond the working world. Participants will learn how to start meaningful conversations and approach people with purpose through hands-on exercises. WOMEN S LEADERSHIP FORUM $12,500 Sponsor an event providing conference attendees with a venue to discuss and debate important issues related to the development of women s leadership, both within the workplace and in broader settings. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed at the forum. TOWN HALL $12,500 In this gathering of the ROMBA community, prominent thought leaders will discuss the implications of upcoming legislation impacting the LGBT community. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed at the event. SECOND YEAR EXCLUSIVE SOCIAL EVENT $10,000 A chance for second year MBA students from schools across the country to get to know each other better through activities that facilitate meeting new people, with the potential to incorporate an off-site social. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed and the sponsor can give a short opening introduction to the event. COFFEE AND REFRESHMENTS SPONSOR $10,000 Sponsor refreshments for attendees throughout all breaks at the conference and during the Career Expo. SECOND YEAR AND ALUMNI NETWORKING EVENT $7,500 An opportunity for second year students and alumni from the same industry to make professional contacts through ice breakers and networking, furthering the 2013 Reaching Out MBA vision of connecting a community. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed in the networking area and the sponsor can give a short introduction to kick off the event. ARTS & CRAFTS EVENT $5,000 Conference attendees will be invited to socialize and create their very own Mardi Gras party mask in preparation for the themed closing reception later in the evening. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed in the work area. SATURDAY ON-SITE SOCIAL EVENT SPONSOR $5,000 Conference attendees will have the opportunity to socialize and take part in a game night on Saturday evening as an alternative to an off-site activity. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed at the event. D ANAHER HEALTH AND WELLNESS SPONSOR $5,000 Conference participants will engage in their choice of a yoga or salsa dancing class on Saturday. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed at the event. 11

STUDENT COMPETITION SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES CASE COMPETITION & BREAKFAST SPONSOR $12,500 Student teams will compete to provide a practical solution to an LGBT-themed business case with winning teams receiving cash prizes. The event includes a separate breakfast for participants and the sponsoring organization will be guaranteed two seats on the judging panel. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed during the event. ENTREPRENEURSHIP PITCH COMPETITION & COCKTAIL RECEPTION $12,500 In the Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition, MBA students compete to provide the best new ideas with the winning student receiving a cash prize. Conference participants will be invited to enjoy refreshments with entrepreneurship and venture capital mentors after a full-day of entrepreneurship focused activities. The entrepreneurship pitch competition winners will be announced at the entrepreneurship Cocktail reception. The sponsor s logo will be prominently displayed at the reception. SCHOLARSHIP SPONSOR $12,500 The sponsor can show direct support of LGBT MBA students by sponsoring a scholarship essay contest for attendees. NONPROFIT SERVICE AWARD $5,000 The sponsor can show direct support of the nonprofit sector by sponsoring a scholarship for MBA students who are selected for outstanding service and impact within the nonprofit sector. 12

ITEM SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES CONFERENCE T-SHIRT SPONSOR $17,500 The sponsor s logo will be printed prominently on the conference T-shirts, which will be part of every attendee s welcome bag. CONFERENCE BAG SPONSOR $15,000 The sponsor s logo will be printed prominently on the conference bags, which will be intended for continued use. Bags will be co-branded with the 2013 Reaching Out logo and the bag sponsor s logo. SMARTPHONE APPLICATION SPONSOR $12,500 The sponsor s logo will be featured in the conference smartphone application used by attendees to check scheduling, programming and conference logistics. OFFICIAL AIRLINE SPONSOR $10,000 The official airline sponsor will have the exclusive right to sponsor air travel for attendees with flight promotions advertised in 2013 Reaching Out registration communications. NAME-BADGE LANYARDS $10,000 The sponsor s logo will be printed prominently on the conference badge lanyards, which all attendees wear throughout the conference. 13

LEARNING SESSION SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES CAREER INTERACTIVE SESSIONS $12,500 Equivalent to Gold Sponsorship Firm representatives will have an opportunity to engage directly with students in activities such as analyzing, solving, and discussing a relevant challenge related to a function of interest to the students. Each session may have up to eleven tables, each with capacity to seat up to six students and two firm representatives presenting a firm specific challenge. This session could be an excellent opportunity for firms to interact with and educate students who express an interest in exploring their company. The session sponsor will receive Gold sponsorship status and all associated benefits in addition to being guaranteed two tables in the session with up to two company representatives per table.
