Kirkland Uncorked Statistics Kirkland Uncorked is a grand celebration showcasing Washington s finest wines, gourmet food, engaging art and live entertainment -- all in one elegant weekend on the shores of Lake Washington in Kirkland s Marina Park. Kirkland Uncorked is a benefit for the Hope Heart Institute, a non-profit who has a 50 year history of revolutionary medical advances and educational curriculums that make heart disease - America s number one cause of death - more treatable, beatable and preventable. Art Artist Lane, in the Kirkland Uncorked Promenade, hosts over forty artist showrooms and an interactive Arts for All area. From jewerly makers to painters to woodworkers, guests have the opportunity to meet the designers and purchase homemade crafts or take the time to make their own masterpiece. With a beachfront grilling stage a showcase of Kirkland s best restaurants, Kirkland Uncorked s Tasting Garden is full of food. Guests can watch professional chefs perform in the grilling demonstrations, find the best pairing through the restaurant sampling and pick their favorite in our grilling competition! Food Wine The Kirkland Uncorked Tasting Garden welcomes over twenty Washington wineries throughout the three-day weekend. Guests use their signature Kirkland Uncorked wine glass to taste wines in 1 ounce samples and as they find the varietals they love they can purchase them in the wine shop and enjoy them in their home.

Festival Promotions Kirkland Uncorked uses a multi-faceted promotional plan including radio, print, online and grass-roots marketing. Event Poster 1,000 distributed Event Program 3,000 distributed Event Coaster 100,000 distributed T V & Print Advertising Kirkland Uncorked partners with regional television, local weekly newspapers and monthly magazines to advertise the festival. Promotions include television morning shows, print ads, coaster insertions, online ads and e-blasts. Radio Partnerships Kirkland Uncorked partners with local radio stations to increase awareness of the festival through on-air and streaming radio. Additional promotions include online ads, ticket giveaways and e-mail blasts.

Website The Kirkland Uncorked website has over 17,000 unique visitors a year providing detailed information about the event experience including festival activites, schedule of events and how to purchase tickets to the Tasting Garden. The website also features sponsorship fulfillment and brand placement. Social Media Kirkland Uncorked has a fully integrated social media plan utilizing Facebook (1,476 Fans) and Twitter (736 followers) to build event anticipation along with brand awareness. Kirkland Uncorked also sends updates to over 2,500 loyal subscribers via email including sponsorship fulfillment, upcoming activities and exciting event news.

Press Coverage Kirkland Uncorked works diligently to promote the festival as a regional tourism event as well as a celebration for the locals. Kirkland Uncorked has received extensive press coverage with features in daily and weekly newspapers as well as monthly magazines in the general Kirkland area, greater puget sound region and across the nation.
