2 Dear Wingham Business Partner, Wingham comes alive with excitement and community spirit each year as it hosts The Musical Muskrat Festival! This year s event will run Friday, June 8th to Sunday, June 10th! New additions to our festival this year including the Muskrat Mile and a Fireman s Breakfast! Old favourites include incredible musical talent featured throughout the weekend as well as the Mighty Maitland Regatta cardboard boat races, Fireman s Games and Car Show. From beginning to end, the Musical Muskrat Festival is the perfect time to catch up with neighbours, support your local teams and challenge your greatest rivals! This weekend will be a fantastic time to spend quality time with the entire family. Children can take part in many of the fun filled activities and entertainment. The Festival will once again offer a variety of delicious food options, including the famous Chicken or Rib dinner on Friday night and the Fireman s Breakfast and Pulled Pork dinner on Saturday. The Wingham Scouts will be operating the food booth providing snacks and tasty treats throughout the weekend and Minor Hockey, along with the Wingham Ironmen will be hosting fundraising BBQ s. The sense of community that Wingham s Musical Muskrat Festival creates by bringing together a number of associations and groups to provide everyone with a fun-filled weekend on the Maitland Shore has always been key to the Festival s success.
