Society for Ecological Restoration Northwest presents Monitoring Ecological Restoration- Measuring Change, Seeing Results Regional Conference April 4-8, 2016, Portland, Oregon The Society for Ecological Restoration Northwest is pleased to announce 2016 Regional conference in Portland, Oregon, at the Jantzen Beach Red Lion Inn, 2016. This conference will be a gathering of scientists, restoration professionals, and government agencies focused on monitoring ecological restoration in the Cascadia Bioregion, with focus on monitoring techniques, restoring soil processes, adaptive management, climate change implications, aquatic and riparian monitoring, as well as special sessions on the 20 year monitoring reports of the Northwest Forest Plan. Collaborating partners for the conference include the Northwest Association of Environmental Professionals, Northwest Forest Soils Council, US Forest Service, and the Center for Natural Lands Management. We invite you to participate in the creation of this unique event through financial contributions and conference exhibiting opportunities. The event will be a great opportunity to communicate closely with 400 or more people involved in restoring and monitoring forests, prairies, soils, watersheds and streams.
