The National Trust for Historic Preservation is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving significant historic places and cultural resources in the United States. It promotes preservation as a tool to advance vibrant, sustainable communities. Among the myriad of programs and services the Trust provides throughout the year is the annual conference, PastForward. Held in the fall and attracting upwards of 2,000 preservationists, the PastForward conference is the educational and networking event for those in the business of saving places. Diversity Scholarships: $40,000 Diversity scholarships offset the cost of conference expenses for 30 emerging preservation professionals and grassroots leaders of underrepresented communities.
