Ntice is hereby given that Seneca R7 Schl District f Seneca, MO will accept bid prpsals frm qualified vendrs with E-Rate SPIN numbers fr Internal Cnnectins as described belw under Items t Bid. All wrk pursuant t this cntract shall be cntingent upn apprved E-Rate funding. The district s summary descriptin f requested gds and services, FCC Frm 470 Applicatin Number Internal Cnnectins, can be viewed at Scpe f the Seneca Schl District The schl district has an enrllment f apprximately 1450 students PK-12. The main area f campus has fur majr educatinal centers (Elementary K-3, Intermediate 4-6, Junir High 7-8 and High Schl 9-12). These facilities are cnnected with fiber and are within a.5 mile radius. Als within this radius are a vcatinal building and central ffice building. A little ver tw miles nrth f twn is a cnverted ffice building that serves as an early childhd center. Presently the district has 8 servers, 27 switches and apprximately 12 access pints per building. Required Elements f a Successful Prpsal: 1. Pre-bid walk-thrugh. The District will hst a walk-thrugh at 9:00 a.m. n March 3. Interested parties shuld meet prir t 9:00 at 914 Frisc, Seneca, MO n the mrning f the 3 rd. The narrative shuld discuss the prpsed slutin s ability t meet the current and future needs f the Seneca R7 Schl District, including nsite supprt, training, and technical assistance. 3. Evaluatin f Prpsals: The selectin prcess will include review and evaluatin f prpsals by schl district staff. The district may bring in utside cnsultants and/r members f the cmmunity t review the prpsals. Selectin f the winning prpsal is expected t be cmplete by March 20, Preference will be given t the prpsal that fits the requirements utlined in this dcument while prviding ample scalability and reliability at the lwest ttal cst f wnership. Between prpsals f cmparable quality and cst, lcal availability and demnstrated experience and expertise will be the deciding factrs as shwn in the Bid Evaluatin Matrix belw. Internal Cnnectins and Managed Internal Bradband Services: Seneca R7 Schl District is seeking prpsals t upgrade and imprve its internal cnnectins. The district will apply fr E-Rate funding t replace and upgrade ur utdated switches, wireless access pints and cntrllers, firewall, and ruter, as well as any required cabling, racking equipment, and UPS equipment. The Seneca R7 Schl District wishes t cntract with certified and knwledgeable service technicians t recmmend secure, best-practice upgrades fr ur netwrk. Prpsals with district-wned equipment, Managed Internal Bradband Services, and integrated r unified wireless and wired switch management (i.e. single pane f glass integratin and management) and ther ease-f-use/management/security features are preferred. Cntent filtering/management thrugh the prpsed wireless slutin is als preferred. The successful vendr will prvide a detailed recmmendatin f cmpnents t include individual part numbers, prduct descriptins, and pricing. The vendr will reference the USAC Schls and Libraries Eligible Services List t determine slutins and cmpnents that are eligible fr funding. Installatin, licensure, basic design and engineering csts, and basic prject management csts cincident with installatin f eligible cmpnents shall als be nted, as well

3 as shipping, labr and ther assciated csts. All warranty and licenses fr wireless cmpnents and switches must be fr a term f five years. All switches must be POE GB switches with the ability t huse 10GB SFP mdules fr future netwrk speed enhancements. Csts assciated with the purchase, installatin, setup, and cnfiguratin f any ineligible equipment r ineligible cmpnents f eligible equipment (cst-allcated as necessary), and any prpsed repurpsing f ur existing equipment shall be listed separately, as these expenses cannt be included in the E-Rate applicatin. Basic Maintenance f Internal Cnnectins services must be fr actual wrk perfrmed and parts repaired r replaced.
